Ordered Sijichun Fruit Tea, Amber Pearl Milk Tea & Jasmine Fruit Tea (left to right) from their central kitchen. Like the jasmine fruit tea as it was a refreshing drink. The milk tea pearl is not bouncy and 25% sugar level is right for me. Thai shrimp cakes were nice but oily. I didn’t try the tempura squid rings as I don’t eat squid. My sis mentioned the squid was soft. Not sure what it meant😅. I find the tea portion per bottle is a lot for me. Similar to the portion we got in Taiwan.
Ordered via Oddle Eats. Good packaging! The food arrives in those traditional brown paper which me happy receiving it. Food still hot when delivered. Prawn dumpling noodle soup was packed separately from the the soup. XO Seafood fried rice was nice but a little spicy to my taste. XO fried carrot cake was average. Sweets & sour fish was nice but sauce can be little more. I liked my crispy red bean paste with banana which not too oily. My mum like her chicken yum puff. And have these with a cup of jasmine tea (my own), perfect for me. Will I order again? Yes!
Fried and stuffed with Parma ham, sun-dried tomato and basil. Ordered this and their spaghetti carbonara. Happy with my orders. This is a place where I wanna have a nice casual meal and catch up with friends over a bottle of wine.
Liked the atmosphere and with the social distancing in place even better for me who don’t like crowds. Liked the black truffle touch on my sunny side up as well as the maple bacon. Halloumi cheese is not to my liking. Never tasted a halloumi cheese so can’t give a fair comment. Overall, it did make me happy seeing and eating the dish. And one more highlight for IBD patient, they do serve almond milk for coffee and limited gluten free dish. A plus point for me since my tummy doesn’t sit well with soy milk!
Ordered delivery. Done well on the packaging. They packed the salad separately in another box which not in this photo. The dish was a rosti with sunny side up egg, salad and a choice of smoked salmon or crispy bacon. Sorry for my bad photography which doesn’t make the food looking appearing. The sunny side up was more a fried egg to me. Their rosti was more on peppery taste but taste good for me. My only concern was a bit on the oily side. Another like about this cafe is they serve coffee with almond milk. Overall, will i order from them again? My reply is YES!
One of my favourite Changs. Theirs Chang full of ingredients and rice is soft. There is also mini version for those don’t wanna or can’t eat too much. I also like their chilli prawn chang.
Due to circuit breaker, more frequent with food delivery. Some food which you eaten nice in restaurants, might be otherwise for takeaways. Happy with this fish and chips for takeaway. It was packed in paper box so was not soggy when delivered. Still tasted good eating at home.
I am an IBD patient (inflammatory bowel disease) so constantly looking for coffee house offering almond milk as my tummy gets cranky with soy. Was in Orchard central and no queue, gave this a go since there was hype about their coffee. Coffee was smooth and can taste just a slight bitterness at the end of each slip. Don’t make me crazy over it. Will I try again? Only at my convenience. Anyway I find coffee is just like wine, more of individual preference.
This restaurant definitely is an Instagram Worthy venue. Food is nice. Interesting cocktail. Will come when there is special occasion.
Apple Wood Roasted Duck - The skin is really crispy and either need to pre-order or arrive early. Unfortunately, it does not available half portion so you need a group to dine so that you can order other items.
Scallop Prawn Hot & Sour Shanghainese Dumplings - They are nice and skin is thin. But a bit too spicy for my IBD tummy. A dish which is Instagram friendly.
Braised Black Cod, Chopped Chilli - There are a few cod dishes in different cooking style. This is nice.
Overall, will visit again to try their other dishes. Service was good for us. As we were at a 2 seater table, they only served the dish when we done. And the dishes were still hot when served to us.
My first time to this restaurant! Only order a few dishes cause only mum and me. The food has the taste of nostalgia which I like it very much. Definitely going to bring my family here so that can try their other dishes. 😋
Texture of the ramen is just right for me. I find that the soup is a little similar to lobster bisque. Overall, like it especially in rainy days. Satisfying!
