Was it worth it? Definitely. The food was thoroughly satisfying and at less than $10 a person, 5 Little Monkeys defines cheap and good.
The spacious feel and amazing view is a huge plus too!
Hidden in the most unassuming food court at the top of City Plaza, this bowl of noodles is light yet tasty at the same time. At just $4, it's definitely worth the trip down and squeezing in this tiny food court for.
Protip: the chili is pretty spicy, don't dump it all in at once ;)

Today's lunch situation: Springy Q wanton noodles from Hao Hao Noodle House at Commonwealth Crescent Market. We love the ultra-chewy texture of the noodles and the culinary performance of the stall owner when he tossed the noodles in the air. Do check out Coocci Contemporary Japanese upgraded hawker space to its restaurant outlet if you're nearby.

Hahah very very visually stunning display of a burger in murder state. Just this appearance instagram worthy enough lol. Taste wise; found the patty tad too salty; could have caramelized the bacon to achieve a balance of sweet yet savoury as it is just too salty imo.. plus point is that the staff is definitely very friendly and attentive and prices are all in nett. Forsee a good crowd strolling in their interior is really cool looking and most importantly its a halal cafe! REjoice for the muslim burpplers yah!
Taro latte in The Lab - this 4-days-old NEW cafe had taken over the space that 7th Cylinder previously resided in. Distinctive taro taste but a tad too milky.
Ginseng Chicken Soup with milk, filled with glutinous rice inside the chicken.
