The char siew is out of this world. The dark caramel marinade is a miracle sauce that when paired with white rice, pasta or cardboard that will leave you finishing the entire plate. The meat is liberally coated with it and with the texture of burnt crunchy bits and portions of juicy fat, this is a char siew worth breaking your diet for.

This cute little cafe still smells new. Just had to try the thai iced tea froyo when I saw it. Sure loved the unique taste! It had the tangy taste of froyo with a slight sweetness of thai iced tea. Yum! Love the crunch on top and the cornflakes inside!

Beautiful to look at and so darn good to drink. The deep jade-coloured "matcha" (green tea) at the base of the cup, has been mixed beforehand with a little sweetness. So when you sip at it, the "matcha" travels through the frothy milk to fill your senses with delight.

Chocolate Ombre Cheesecake: Original Cheesecake, Milk chocolate and Dark chocolate. I like the combination and how it is not overly sweet. However, I will prefer if there is different texture in one cake, but that is a personal preference. Coffee, as usual, can be trusted over here. Great ambience too. Overall, a great place to hang out!

I JUST LOVE THIS! It's light and airy but packed with unique flavors - Meringue rolled with fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. The texture owns it all!

Good food and great company😆 must try - Bikini chicken, coffee ribs, 月光河

Beans are from Dutch colony. Pastries are supplied from BAO again. Pretty decent coffee. Too much cafe sprouting out with the coffee supplied from pretty common roasters as well as the pastries. So IMHO, to stand out, your interior and service has to be really good. Otherwise the hype won't last. (I'm talking about cafes with just coffee and pastries of course)

I like the 'feel' of this cafe. Industrial decor and it is still not overcrowded on a weekday and that is good. A little gem at the east. Not an extensive food menu but I will be willing to travel back to the east to try it again. So far, everything has been decent. More to explore!

New quiet cafe on the block at Mountbatten and it's open on Mondays! Got their RED VELVET LAVA CAKE with BUBBLE GUM GELATO and LATTE for $10.90 NETT! Feel it's really value for money! And the desserts are really decent! Coffee not so though in my opinion.
