Former Campus Superstar participant Renfred Ng is the man behind this cool new ice cream parlour situated in Tanglin Halt. Specialising in homemade ice cream that boast signature flavours like the beautifully creamy Sicilian Pistachio, The Milky Way is off to a good start. Order some half and half waffles to go with your ice cream, and complete your experience with a cuppa brewed by Renfred himself. He may be young; but he sure is talented!

This was another successful example.
Their 四川 cold dishes were awesome. They had right balance of spiciness and tongue numbing feeling. The best thing was their pricing.
Veg - $1
Meat - $2

This is a classic cheesecake that you see it flooding at every bakery and cafés. But how it taste like, it's something I can't explain with words. It takes more than a thousand words to describe this slice of cheesecake.

And this is by far, the best cheesecake and rather competitive with my fav cheesecake from Hilton Hotel, Checkers Deli!

Noodles were mediocre, but their sides ingredients makes it stand out. Still considering whether $6.80 is a reasonable pricing for this bowl.

This is a new cafe where traditions meet civilization, serving light snacks such as sea salt fries, la coffee wings; old schoolers - butter kaya toasts, half boiled eggs; Asian specials - Curry chicken, Laksa, Siew Mai; and western delights - beef bolognese, potato salad, pancakes and more to expect.

Their name is interesting as it is meant to be read as "Coffee Now Here".
Barely one month old, this beautiful al fresco cafe is tucked away in a corner of lush verdant surroundings in the Rochester Park area.
Both the cappucino and latte we had were priced higher than average at $6.50 each, but we found them to be very enjoyable. The taste profile: Full-bodied, nutty, chocolatey and slightly fruity.
Although this is a Singapore company, their beans which are a blend of Brazilian Yellow Bourbon, Ethiopian Sidano and Guatamalan, are roasted at their own roastery in Johor.
Coffee:Nowhere may not be the easiest place to get to and they only have a few cakes to accompany the coffee but it's so peaceful and lovely an escape, I think a trip down here is worth it.

It's incredible once you know what goes in this flavour; who would have thought that Butter, Dark Brown Sugar, Digestive Biscuits, Balsamic Vinegar and Seasalt can be mixed up for an ice-cream. What you get; a sufficiently milky sweet yet salted flavour profile, with crunchy bits of sweetness of digestive biscuits. Yum!

So happy that it was a successful attempt! Need to work on shaping the mooncakes. I don't know why my snowskin mooncakes are always so ugly. Pfft! Anyway, I gobbled up one durian mooncake after taking this photo yesterday night. 🙊 Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, everyone! 中秋節快樂! 😘

Dutch Blend. Nutty and sweet chocolatey tones in a smooth and creamy cuppa.
