What do you look for in a Nasi Lemak? If chilli, Latiffa Huri hits the right spot. The Ikan kuning was quite nicely fried and did not taste dry. I felt that rice could do with a stronger coconut taste but overall, still a good and very reasonably priced Nasi Lemak. My mom really enjoyed the lontong which had a generous amount of rice cakes! Paid slightly more than 5 bucks for these two plates. I totally forgot to add the Otah in my hastiness to eat breakfast and the chicken wings were not ready at 8am. Will return again to try those.
This was better than expected. Thought the sauce which came with minced meat was gonna be salty but the flavour was quite moderate. The YTF items were quite nicely fried, didn’t feel greasy at all.
Singaporeans love our white beehoon, this place is packed on a weekday night. Gravy is light yet tasty enough. Quite like the kailan I ordered which complemented the beehoon with more veggies. Comfort food for the tired office worker after a long day. 😌

The key to having a great okonomiyaki here is to be patient. For our first okonomiyaki, we kept hurrying the staff to flip and kept asking if it was ready, so it turned out less crispy than expected. The popular one is the one with buta. The appetizers were quite amazing too, loved the potato salad😍😍, the mentaiko tofu and crispy burdock. Left with a smoky head but happy belly.
Took me so long to realise the existence of apiary and I am totally craving for this after every meal now. I went back thrice a week and my work place is not even central. Personal favorite is the chocolate because I love that it is not too sweet. Apiary is a bit milky for me. Despicable (me) is featured here too, no prizes for guessing that flavour. Among my friends, everyone had their favorite, so I guess it really depends. But I really love the fuss free vibe here at apiary. Will be back again!
Decided to get the brownie after seeing it on IG and stuck to my usual chocolate but it proved to be a bit too jialat. I will stick to the single scoop next time. Brownie is nice if you prefer the drier type. Other flavours featured are apiary and despicable me.

Trying the healthier choice white carrot cake for breakfast. 大众whips up a pretty good plate of carrot cake, slightly crispy on the outside and the pieces of carrot cake are sized just right. I like the chili which is more towards the spicy side. Service here is efficient. I would also recommend the chee cheong fun here which is very nicely plated. Take the right queue for the carrot cake, and left queue for the CCF and Yam cake.

Had a super strong craving for bee hoon goreng and viola, just realised springleaf opened at the basement of Jcube 💃🏻 this came with no onions (haha just the way I like it) it’s not too dry not too soggy, the right texture for me, not spicy as well! Will return to try the rest of the menu!
Lai Seng is my to go stall for CCF. It’s beside the popular kopi stall (in the corner) in the row facing the car park. For two pieces, this goes at $1.80. With sesame and sauce used, this CCF is smooth and fragrant. Skip the chili sauce unless you really need it. Lai Seng has morning beehoon that is pretty good as well but their side dishes are quite mediocre. The uncle and aunty at the stall are quite friendly so that’s a bonus. Nuff said, get the CCF!
