The restaurant serve up a wide variety of delights but noodles are the signature dishes. The price is quite reasonable with cozy and friendly ambience. Not to mention its excellent customer service and their speedy food serving.
I ordered their Curry Chicken Rice (RM8.30). The portion is quite a huge portion for single serving, served with white rice, curry chicken and stir-fried cabbage. The curry is not too spicy but flavourful at the same time, so it was a perfect combo. I quite like the curry chicken here and would totally recommend you guys to order this :)
I also tried their Assam Fish (RM7.6) and if you're not a fan of spicy food, I would say just skip this dish because the fish was abit too spicy to my liking :( definitely not recommended when you are having sore throat 😂
Overall, this place is a good place where you can have wide variety of food choice especially if you are very hungry and need a quick, authentic Malaysian food.
Tip: air conditioned, cash term payment only, children friendly
Parking: be prepared to double park 😅
To satisfy those sweet tooth cravings, here's the place you're meant to be! Phix specialized in cakes, coffees and is also a vape heaven for you vapers (they sell everything vape related, e-coiling service, etc) ;)
We tried their Biscoff Cheesecake (RM14), it was superb. Based with Digestive biscuit, thick cheesecake chunk, topped with Digestive biscuit crumble and caramel sauce. It's a total soul comforting food especially when you're stressed up with study or work..
Their hot chocolate (RM9) is also wort to mention, thick and creamy, they served it without sugar (self-service). I still think without sugar is the best, won't taste too bitter, taste just nice. Pair it with the cake and you are good to go to satisfy those sweet tooth cravings 😋
They provide uninterrupted 100mbps internet for you if you want to do your assignment while savouring on their delish cakes!
P.S: they open until 12 am :)
For you that running late for dinner or just have to satisfy those midnight hunger pangs, Grafa cafe will welcome you with their comforting food!
We came for a late dinner on a rainy day, I was craving for something that can warm my tummy (a.k.a something spicy) so I ordered Chicken Olive Garlic Pasta (RM20), it's spaghetti with tender chicken breast chunks, olive oil, garlic, chili flakes, chili padi and the best thing is the whole thing is drenched in some soupy goodness , definitely not your typical aglio olio pasta eh! Portion wise is super huge that you can possibly share with your friend. Their Mee Raja (RM18) is also the bomb! Taste different from Mee Raja you can find in Murni, this Mee Raja is kinda black pepperish in taste, served with huge Pandan Chicken drizzled in Kaya sauce (yes, Kaya that you eat with bread! My first time eating chicken with kaya and I would like to give it two thumbs), it's oh-so-special!
Seafood chowder (RM25) is also something that you would like to order here if you are not that hungry, wanting something light but warm, thick and creamy. They are very generous in those seafood ingredients such as green mussels, prawns, squids, etc. Dip those garlic breads (FOC) on your soup.. yummmsss
They also have small clothes shop right infront of their cafe that you can check out after filling your tummy, it's called Deciders Plus. They sell basic T-shirts, etc.

Definitely is a place where you can drink till drop 😜 We came here to have late dinner and ordering their Chicken Chop (RM20) and Fish & Chips (RM18) couldn't go wrong.. wanted to try out their mocktails but unfortunately they didn't have it :( ended up ordering orange juice with loads of ice bits although we ordered less ice 🙄
Chicken chop and fish & chips were pretty decent in term of taste and portion, but nothing to brag about. People that come here usually indulge themselves in beers as they have crazy happy hour promotions, RM10/glass of beer. It's a great place to came for chilling out after work :)
Tip: cash and credit card payment allowed, food serving time is rather slow
You can either have mixed soup or single soup here. Their specialty soup is the Fish Pot (RM29.90/150gram fish - enough for 2 people sharing) and Curry Fish Pot (RM29.90/150 gram fish). Their soup is being simmered for 10 hours using fresh fish bones, flounder fish and their chef secret recipe. Other than the chef special soup, they have other soup such as seafood tomyam broth, curry vegetable pot, spicy broth, asam laksa broth, etc.
The soup is really comforting and definitely not like the normal clear steamboat soup that you usually had. Their choice of steamboat set for 2 pax (RM38.8, broth is excluded) is pretty large (we cant finish it! 😅) and comes with the choice of 2 rice or 2 yee mee noodle). The special ingredient is the squid ink sotong balls (comes with the set meal, RM6.9/4pcs for ala carte). The sotong ball is sweet and savoury at the same time and i like it so much!! Other ingredients are nothing to shout about, but in overall I had a good time eating steamboat here :)
Tip: cash and credit card accepted, airconditioned and non-airconditioned, smoking allowed, tough to find parking.
Tien Xia restaurant is truly a gem inside S'Park mall in Desa Sri Petaling. The restaurant is run by Chinese speaking ladies that are more than happy to recommend their best dishes to you.
She recommend us to order their Special Soy Sauce Crackling Pork (RM12), Pumpkin Taufu (RM10) and Stir-fried Goji Berry Spinach (RM6.90). You may be surprised on how money worthy are their weekday promotional price! Dishes were served in a decent portion for sharing of 2 people and white rice that comes in a bucket.
Taste wise, the crackling soy pork is my favourite and the pumpkin toufu is served with thick pumpkin puree which I drizzled it on top of the white rice. The spinach tasted good too with the hint of sweet goji berries (I like to pick on the goji berry and eat it at the end of my meal) :p
Overall: it's a good place to have family reunion dinner over authentic Chinese food.
Payment: cash and credit card acceptable
In frame: Assam fish (RM32), Signature Toufu with Salted Egg Yolk Sauce (RM15), Stir Fried Kailan (RM12).
The food overall was good in taste especially the Assam fish.. it tasted fresh and the Assam sauce is just sooo good eaten with white rice. The toufu portion is rather quite big even for 2 people sharing, tasted crunchy yet soft in the middle with the hint of savoury salted egg yolk
The waiting time was quite long though, around 30-45 minutes depends on the crowd (because there is only 1 chef cooking all the food)
Overall: food is good, but not recommended for hungry Burpplers or else you'll get hangry :(
Payment: Cash term only
It's been a while since I have a proper brunch in a cafe on Sunday afternoon 😊
In frame: The Big breakfast platter (RM23), Salty Eggy Mac (RM19), Immunity Booster juice (RM13.5 without ice), Passionfruit soda (RM8).
The Big breakfast platter is something that you would definitely have if you are starving and demand for heavy brunch meal, served with the mainstream ingredients like jumbo chicken sausage and hash brown, they also serves you with Chili con crane! Try spreading it on their homamade toast, yummmm on the first bite!!! (Only available in weekend)
Salty Eggy Mac is another thing! Not too jelat but just nice and satisfying. Sauteed prawn were used, with macaroni and salted egg yolk sauce, a little bit spicy if you accidentally bite the chili padi bits 😂
Overall: it's a good brunch place, definitely will come back in near future.
Tip: (unfortunately) cash only, tough to find parking, children friendly and THEY HAVE BABY SHARK IN TANK NAMED CHARLIE!! Go check out on Charlie ;) 🦈
First impression of this restaurant: super friendly and understanding staff!!! It was raining hard when we parked right infront of their restaurant, their staff automatically carries an umbrella and approached our car...
This restaurant is famous of their seafood porridge, however their porridge is not like a soft, mushy kind of porridge that you usually have when you are sick. We ordered Four Season porridge (RM76/ 2pax) which consist of crab meat (with the egg!), squid, fish and prawn. The porridge texture is rather like a soupy rice. The seafood tastes fresh, especially the crab meat.. it tastes sweet!
I was also craving for some fish maw soup (RM16 - small), and their fish maw soup is fantastic too, served with fish balls and satisfied my cravings right away ❤️
If you have never been here, you definitely want to give it a try, it's something comforting to have during rainy days or when you're sick :)
Tip: Children friendly, cash only, relatively easy to find parking
Choo choo chicken or Kyochon??? Hmmm still a very tough question!! Both has their own specialties I would say.
We visited Choo Choo Chicken in Taipan, ordered their popular set dish which consist of 6 pcs of tender chicken strips (can choose from 5 flavours: garlic, sweet, honey soy, spicy and classic) and Cham Choo Rice Burger (tuna, kimchi and Choo Choo rice burger topped with seaweed flakes), a plate of such complete meal was only RM17.9!
The waiting time is rather quite slow, but i think it's worth the wait as the Cham Choo Rice Burger is really special and complements the chicken strips very well! The chicken strips were good too, not too oily or too dry.
Their soy garlic flavour taste was abit black pepperish, it was nice but i'll still prefer Kyochon's soy garlic flavour 😅
Overall: recommended, will definitely come back again!
Tip: children friendly, birthday party friendly, both cash and credit card allowed, air-conditioned, tough to find parking (Taipan as per usual traffic 🙄)
I've been here a couple of times and so far they serve the best yong tau fu in town. My favourite is their Bowl Cake (RM1.6), it is a rice flour cake (i think) topped with minced meat and preserved veggie drizzled with their sweet special sauce, i never fail to order this everytime i visit their restaurant :)
Their yong tau fu price is RM1.1 each, usually for a single serving, you'll get full after eating 5-6 pieces of the yong taufu as they'll stuff the yong tau fu with fish paste, my favourite part of eating yong tau fu is to eat their green leafy veggie 😀
Tip: cash only, child friendly, non-air conditioned, a little tough to find parking
If you're looking for good tai chow food that will comfort your tummy, here's the best place to eat! This is the perfect place to have your family dinner gathering by the way :)
Located deep inside Puchong area, ordering dishes in this restaurant is such a breeze. They have displayed their chef special food photos all over their wall for your ease when ordering. The auntie will also more than happy to recommend their restaurant specialties.
If you happen to visit, remember to order their best selling Nyonya Curry Sauce Tilapia Fish (RM29.68/100gram). The sauce is just the perfect combination between sour, salty and sweet Nyonya style curry sauce, drizzle it all over your white rice and you'll get what i mean! Butter Cream King Mantis Prawn (RM16.96) is also one of their chef recommended dish, it's crispy and the sauce is really good, fragrant and creamy. Another house specialties is their Famous Taufu (RM12.72), they apparently home-made the taufu! Taufu was so smooth and served with thick minced meat and spring onion sauce, and topped with dried squid..
I would totally recommend this tai chow place to my friends and of course fellow Burpplers!!
Tip: child friendly, cash only, smoking area and air-conditioned area are available. Plenty of parking spot too!
