The uncle took one minute to fry this plate of awesomeness
Soft yet firm to the bite, it’s a good alternative to the regular kaya toast. Their teh is also good, in fact I think their kopi and teh is the best in the area.
This used to be better a long time ago when I was in NS. I prefer the AMK curry puff at TPY now. And I do like OCK – it’s comfort food to me.
At $18.90 before ++, the New York Strip is rather good. Are those soft gelatinous strips along the edge of the steak fat or ligament?
Only the Teochew porridge staples here, but they were all rather good! Is this the case for all good Teochew porridge stalls? I especially liked the braised duck here.
My first post in ages! An old favourite from when I was working near Ghim Moh last year. Every piece consistently orh-some. They moved from Ghim Moh to ABC Brickworks when the former was undergoing renovation and relocated to temporary premises.
And therefore the best. ieatishootipost has all the details, I think it’s got something to do with the roasting of the beans. Brings out the fragrance without ever tasting burnt.

Nice change from the usual sunny side up! All round satisfying bowl of black pepper beef with rice then.

You need to order the $5 portion for that. Gonna order that next time and I’ll know if I prefer this to the Serangoon Road Hokkien mee.
I like my Hokkien mee like I dig my fried carrot cake. The black ones in KL are better though.
