We came for supper at night, and it was bustling. What we found interesting was that the drinks stall was across the road, and the runners actually had to cross the road to deliver drinks. I found that quite very amusing. Anyhow, I love the porridge here!! Thick, soft chunks of rice, and hei bee hiam, vegetables are not too salty and fresh, and they have one of the widest selections of ingredients. Would recommend this place for a hearty and nutritious dinner or supper :)

We had the set meal. Kimchi fries + soya chicken ($8), Beef fries + sweet chicken ($8). It's quite very yummy if you're hungry, but do remember to drink lots of water because it is very heaty! I liked the beef chilli fries and the sweet chicken best.

I had the one for one Sriracha chicken burger ($16) with a dear friend, and I would have to say it's one of the best burgers I have tried (even though I am not a fan of burgers). The buns are crisp with sesame seeds adding to the crunch, the chicken was well cooked and seasoned, and the sandwiched melted cheese just added the right bit of flavour to the whole burger. If you are looking to diet, don't come here. But if you want to indulge your fats a little, this burger is quite worth it. The atmosphere is chill, and good for meet ups. The only sad thing is that it is a little out of the way. Do look out for their one for one promotions, if not I find their regular menu a little pricey. :(

Found this at The Local People market, and I like that it's solid. Nothing amazing, and slightly pricy at $5, but nonetheless if you are feeling sweaty and need a chill bite - this Strawberry Hokkaido milk Popsicle is worth the pinch.

I had the Châ Giò (Fried pork spring rolls), Gôi Cuõn (Fresh prawn and pork spring rolls), Nem Nuong (Hanoi Pork meat balls) and Phô Bò Tái (sliced beef noodle soup) 😋 - all for $21. The service at this place is quaint, the owner is friendly and almost all the service staff are Vietnamese. I felt that the broth could have been more flavorful? But all in all, it is truly really value for money. I liked the fried spring rolls best. The fresh spring rolls could have been a little thinner on the skin. I would come back here again!! Really great and affordable Viet food that is not a rip off - on a sidenote, they provide free wet towels too, and don't try to overcharge you for drinks. Drinks are $1-2, and desserts are around $2. 赞!

I like that this is on a street filled with bars and even a random convenience store and a Zi char store, the owners really turned this place which is out of nowhere in pasir Panjang, to somewhere where people actually feel hipster enough to want to go out of the way to visit. 😂 They have pretty good service, and I loved my cup of Picolo Latte ($4.50). I thought the table arrangements were a bit cramped though, and the place was slightly dark. Nonetheless, the best part of this place for me was the artwork on the outside. Beautifully done : )
