Choice of Ice Cream was Bread Toast, essentially vanilla ice cream with little bits in it. Chose to go with this so it wouldn’t clash or interfere with Mao Shan Wang Lava.

Cookie crisp on the outside but soft and chewy on the outside 🍪 The aroma and warmth of Mao Shan Wang cookie engulfs the cold from the ice cream and cookie instantly. Lava concentrated but not surfeiting so durian lovers should go for this.

Ratio of ice cream, cookie and lava was good. Portion just right to fix your dessert craving.

I had this the first time when it was located at Lavender Food Square. I was wow-ed by the plate of messy goodness. I don’t usually have wanton mee but the sweet sauce made it addictive and satisfying. After relocating to hoe nam building it still tastes the same, being in the long queue is normal but worth waiting.

Today they are located at 30 Foch Road, the portion got smaller and no add ons of noodles was allowed which took me aback. The noodle sauce still had a little sweetness, the only reminiscent of how it used to be. I added chili so it is more appetising, my friend who didn’t said its leaning towards more salty than sweet. Wanton soup was overly salty though, would suggest to go for the fried wanton instead 🥟

Opens from 12pm till sold out, we went after 1pm on a Saturday and queue wasn’t too long. I will give it a try again when I can to gauge if the standard has really been compromised!

Durian Mousse with fresh durian flesh, I would recommend to go for the double shot to make your money worth it. Chilled smooth, light and aromatic it is a must have if you are a durian lover.

If I’m heading home after I would takeaway too. Take note if you leave it overnight in the fridge the taste will be compromised. The other items on the menu looks good too! Good dessert place to visit!

Really unique pairing of flavors here, with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce with petals sprinkled all over.

Elderflower jelly took me by surprise how mild and delightful it was, whilst strawberries, pistachio crumb and pomegranate adds further textures, acidity and crunch. These components elevated the overall taste of this sundae.

Given how cleverly put together, for the portion, quality and pricing its recommended for sure. Ice cream waffles related are always such joy✨!

This place is gorgeous to have your meals at! Service great and its not very rowdy even when its almost full house.

Opted for their 2 course lunch, there’s 3 course option too which includes dessert. I had minestrone soup with Barramundi as my main and a bottle of Sancere to go with 🍷 . Both tasted better than average and I’m looking forward to exploring more of their menu. Sancere is medium bodied and medium acidity which I’m happy with!

Lunch menu varies day to day, from 11.30am to 3pm!

Best representation of how the ingredients and spice will be looking like upon cooking.

Ingredients consists of Vermicelli, Fishball with Roe, Fishballs, Vegetarian Mushrooms. A big packet of chili and coriander. Optional to skip the coriander step which might be overwhelming for some, and it presents another different taste all by itself.

Comfort food especially on rainy days when I just want to have something which is soupy. It isn’t too filling and portion is considered quite small so its good to have it at home when you want to have a bite anytime.

I’ve tried Grilled Fish at other places before but its my first at 探鱼. Went ahead with the Thai Style Flavor because they were out of usual hot favorites. Heavy flavored yet still striking a balance of spicy and sourness.

Fish choice was Limbo Fish 🐟 and they have deboned it for us, meat fresh and tender. For add-ons, Golden Combination is great! Consists of Golden Mushroom, Potato, Lotus Root and Crab Stick. Its enough to fill 2-3 people for the portion.

Plum drink is recommended too!

Chanced upon this eating place that serves authentic thai food. Portion is decent and price really reasonable, service tip top too!

Tom yum soup has lots of ingredients and it packs a punch! Fried egg fluffy and Kangkong has the right amount of spiciness and crunch to it. Do request for their homemade sambal belacan if you like to have your food with chilli 🔥

Give this place a try if you’re looking for something different to have around the vicinity.

Being the signature here, definitely a must order to try! While I was biting into it I could really feel the strands of mee sua, not something I would eat continuously because the chili there to go with it I feel can be better and I would prefer not to have it if there’s no condiments

One of the usual to order at a dim sum place, its not too salty unlike what I’ve tasted at other dim sum place before. Comfort food on a rainy day too with the piping hot custard oozing out.

Although fried, still bouncy and soft. Good addition if you want something light especially to if you ordered quite a few heavy flavored dim sum.

The usual banana fritters are usually quite sweet from my impression of them, but this is surprisingly not. Coupled with prawn it definitely intrigues me whilst I was looking at the menu for dishes that are different or unique to their own. Cut into halves, bite sized and not cloying.
