Swipe to open the box!! First time trying their brownies. I loved the texture - a dense and fudgy core, with large chocolate chunks scattered throughout for a nice bite, and a thin crackly top.
Price: $12 for 12 pieces

A selection of our favourites (clockwise from upper left): honey chicken, fried prawn cakes, stirfried morning glory and chicken wings.
Crispy fried chicken in thick honey goes so well with fluffy white rice. I realised every Thai restaurant does their honey chicken differently! But theirs is good, with a really nice bite.

They're on both Deliveroo and GrabFood.
Price: Honey chicken $10.80, Prawn cakes $8.40, Morning glory $9.60, Chicken wings $7.20 on Deliveroo. Slightly more expensive than eating in-store/takeaway, but I really can't complain for the convenience!

Warm layers of pasta, minced beef ragu and mozzarella cheese. Guaranteed to fill both your soul and your waistline.
Protip for anyone else who didn't know: unlike other pastas, you don't boil the lasagna sheets before baking!

Coated in caramelised brown sugar, the brown sugar pearls and fresh milk are topped with luscious cheese cream. Very rich but quite satisfying! The pearls were chewy with a good bite, the balance between the brown sugar syrup and refreshing fresh milk just right, and the cheese cap creamy and delicious. Perfect for an occasional indulgence.

Made by my sister. The tart base was crispy and flaky, with a beautiful wobbly yolky custard inside. So good I scarfed down 2 in a row.

Was impressed that the batter remained crispy long after delivery. Most fried chicken gets soggy after a short while. Do note that they are very generous with the chilli powder - if you just want mild spiciness you probably should specify! Big portions, reasonable prices, satisfyingly sinful.
Price: $5.90

Heard that their rice bowls are not bad and finally tried it for myself. The portion is pretty decent - teriyaki chicken, broccoli, assorted diced veggies atop mixed brown/white rice. It certainly tastes healthy. A quick and nutritious meal, although it's not something I would crave for. I would prefer if the veggies had more flavour.

Price: $7.20

I like Frosties cereal so I was excited to try the cereal bar. Swipe right to see what the bar itself looks like: sweet frosted flakes coated in a base layer of milk chocolate. The cereal bits are slightly thinner than the original Frosties, which is good as this makes it easier to bite and less abrasive. One box has 6 bars but I only got to eat 1 because the rest were gobbled up too quickly!

Price: $4.99

Much like a KFC Zinger with its fluffy bun, fried chicken patty, lettuce and mayonnaise. The main difference was that the fried chicken was less oily, the mayo more tangy (think Japanese kewpie mayo) and there were thin slices of pickles.
I liked it! Gave me the satisfaction of fast food without feeling too greasy and sinful.

Price: $6.40

Really easy with the tortillas from Mission Foods. You only need a few ingredients, and can feel free to switch it up - it will still taste great.

Cheesy Chicken Quesadillas (makes 1)
Ingredients
1/2 cup of shredded chicken / 1 chicken sausage
5 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese
3 lettuce leaves
Assorted vegetables eg. cucumber or tomato slices
1 tortilla

Steps
1. Place the tortilla on a flat pan. Don't turn on the heat yet.
2. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese and the parmesan on half the tortilla (should fill a semi-circle - see Pic 3).
3. Layer chicken over cheese.
4. Add lettuce leaves and other veggies. (Pic 4)
5. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the veggies. (Pic 5)
6. Fold ingredient-less half of the tortilla over. Press down to flatten so ingredients are closely packed.
7. Turn on low heat to melt the cheese inside. Flip after 1 minute and heat on other side.
8. When cheese is melted, it's ready to serve!

Hope you enjoy making this as much as I did!

Price: $2.80 for pack of 5 tortillas

Dapao-ed this when I went to eat the famous Yishun Laksa long ago. Quite a good alternative if you don't feel like queueing for laksa.

I love that they include achar on the side. The rice is also incredibly fragrant, with lots of visible ginger shavings and shallots. The chicken was probably the weakest part of the dish. It doesn't come with skin (for all you chicken skin-lovers) and was slightly dry for my liking. Overall, very value-for-money and tasty, but I would only have this if I'm in the area.

Price: $3 or $4 (this is the $3 portion)

Beef steak, onion, mushroom, bell pepper, steak bulgalbi sauce, mayonnaise and mozzarella cheese - not my typical choice of pizza but I wanted to try something different. It was not bad! It was a creamy type of pizza, but the veggies added a nice crunch for contrast.

However, the one thing I didn't enjoy about their pizzas this time around (I LOVED it the first 2 times I ate) was that they were super salty. Perhaps the Yishun branch is just not as consistent as the rest. I would recommend trying the Bugis branch, or the Jewel one when it reopens.

Price: $16.90 for regular 9 inch, $20.90 for large 12 inch (this is the large)
