Pappadum, mentai mayo and ikura. Didnt sound like these ingredients would go together, but it did! Only gripe was the pappadum arrived a bit soggy. No crisp.

Broth was heavy and salty, which actually reminded me of Tsukemen I ate in Japan! Authentic, but I wouldn’t be able finish this alone due to how salty it was. And there was no part of this ramen that screamed ā€œSingaporeā€ at all tbh.

This must be the smallest slice of cheesecake I’ve ever eaten. It’s like cheesecake but for people on a diet šŸ˜‚. $8 for this was honestly not worth the price, tasted like any ordinary basque burnt cheesecake.

5 dumplings, 2 side dishes, miso soup and a refillable bowl of bean sprouts for $13.90? Not bad at all. The pork dumplings were ok, and ironically not the star of the show. The 2 side dishes I chose: ginger pork and chicken nanban were surprisingly better! Fried prawn was full of batter and eggs were nothing special. I’d come back to try their prawn gyozas!

Ah, finally wanton mee that is quite (but not quite there still) close to M’sian wanton mee, with its signature dark soya sauce colour and good wanton. Getting the regular sized one will also include fried wanton and sliced pork chop which were delicious and well worth the upgrade.

Had the pulled pork and chicken tacos, not bad at all. I wish they had an option for hard shell tacos as well.

Also had their elote, grilled corn with mayo and cojita cheese. It was okay, I wouldn’t order it again though.

Lastly the steak quesadilla was average. A cheese lover like me should enjoy this, but the cheese inside was half melted while the other half was a mushy, crumbly mess that resembled goat or cojita cheese. Not a pleasant texture at all.

Loved the meats! My favourite in descending order were the siu yok, duck and char siew. A lot of these noodles can be quite dry and flavourless out there, but this one was packed with flavour and if you choose chili, there will be belacan added as well. $11+ for a bowl, but I can’t complain with the amount of meat and noodles that greeted me. You can also opt for only char siew or siew yok.

Not a fan at all of the choices of sauces they gave. The only one that tasted normal was the belacan (1st sauce from left). But the main stars which were the char siew, siu yok and duck? Succulent and juicy. The bao and lettuce were great vessels to accompany the meat.

Got the sweet and smoky bbq chicken and thunder tea rice, both were pretty yummy! The chicken thigh was juicy and the bbq sauce was at the right amount of flavour. The red rice had the right texture. Wish they gave more of the pico de gallo cause that was really good.

However I did expect the thunder tea rice to come with that distinct and unique green broth, but instead it came with a herbal broth instead. I guess this was a more modern spin to it, and I didn’t mind it at all because it tasted pretty good.

Now I want to try their other dishes!

It’s ironic how the dish that is literally the name of the restaurant didn’t taste as good as I expected it to be šŸ˜… Personally, the soup was quite bland for me, wouldn’t go back for this.
The hor fun however, was pretty good. Flavourful with a touch of wok hei and generous with the bean sprouts and fish slices. The prawn paste chicken and stir fried kai lan are also good!

So so sinful, but equally delicious. It was too sweet/salty though, needed to be eaten with rice or noodles to accompany the heavy flavours.

We had the Eggplant Parmigiana, Stracciatella Crab and Homemade Red Tagliolini with Pork Sausage Ragù. All quite delicious! The sweet crab and earthy arugula went very well with the Stracciatella, even my friend who didn’t like cheese found it good. Also shoutout to the tagliolini pasta, it was cooked to al dente perfection šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

Even though I loved cheese, it was a cheese overload for us. Next time we’ll mix it up with some non cheesy food (which is few and far between here lol). Also sad that they don’t sell pizzas!
