Festive Menu Dessert - $16
·
TWG recently released their festive menu, and my eyes are on their dessert as always. This time limited dessert is a vanilla parfait, that’s topped with a scoop of refreshing orange sorbet and Forever Noel Tea infused tuile, served with citrus caviar, grapefruit, mandarin orange and lime zest. It’s a citrusy melody in every mouthful, really enjoyed it. Festive menu is available till 30 Dec

Strawberry Shortcake - $8.90
·
A newly openly cake shop that’s nearby the newly openly Maxwell train station. I tried their strawberry shortcake, which has soft sponge cake, with strawberry and strawberry jam layered in-between among the fresh cream. Lovely cake but it is cut kinda thinly, making it pricy for that price tag

Sansho Spicy Mazesoba - $15
·
Back at Reiwa Soba to makan of their 100% buckwheat flour soba. The Sansho Spicy Mazesoba is served cold, topped with spicy minced pork with a mild kick! Accompanied with leek, Alfalfa sprouts, tenkatsu and nori. Mixed with homemade sesame sauce for the classic wafu flavours. Definitely prefer this over their classic soba with pork slices

Pulled Beef Toast (3pcs) - $12
·
Rather new cafe, located in Chinatown hood. It has the cozy vibe, with pastel colour decor. Their Pulled Beef Toast only had three pieces, which I single handedly finished it all. It comes with quail egg, pulled beef, Parmesan and honey Chipotle mayo, all stacked on top of bite size toasted brioches. Flavourful in every bite, better to pair with their array of funky ice beverages

Tom Yum Kung - $17.90
·
Large portion of Tom Yum soup, creamy version, that’s good for sharing with 2-3 pax. Soup taste rather balanced, not too spicy nor sour. Includes decent portion of chicken and seafood. Perfect combination with rice, best pick during rainy weather

Yummy green tea croissant, that’s generous in filling. Love the almond, which provides the crunchy texture. Counter the sweetness with a cup of coffee or tea, perfection

Blueberry Honey Yogurt + $1.50

Many knows of Kooks Creamery for their iconic cookie with molten chocolate/ matcha. This time I paired it with collaboration flavour, Jeju Breeze. Lovely yogurt gelato with a mix of honey and blueberries, giving it a sweet sour flavour & rather appetising

Grilled Cheese Sandwich - $18
·
Love the slightly molten trio cheese, sandwiched between crisp sourdough toast. Dip the savoury toast in tomato soup to get a more refreshing flavour. Can’t resist the golden tots, luckily there’s mesclun salad by the side to boost the greens intake. Enjoy it with a cup of coffee for a perfect Sunday morning
