Ice Cream Parfait
Chocolate Brownie - $14
·
Lover of Sunday Folks. Finally get to visit their outlet at ION. Chocolate brownie parfait comes with plain ole chocolate ice cream, dark chocolate, sea salt honeycomb and some brownie cubes. In the middle, there’s cornflakes for extra crunch. If you prefer something simpler, do try their soft serves, which is yummy as always

Truffle Scrambled & Salmon - $20
·
First visit to Habitat after their relocation. The bigger floor space and minimalist design is definitely welcomed. Love the healthy salmon toast, which comes with grilled salmon fillet stacked under truffle infused scrambled egg and sourdough toast. Dessert wise, their Dark Molten ($12) lava cake is simple yet lovely. Home baked dark chocolate lava cake that’s not too sweet, and paired with yummy vanilla ice cream. Great pick to dine and chill

Reiwa Pork Soba - $12
Wakasagi Tempura - $7
Fried Oyster w Fermented Butter - $13
·
Soba sold there is made with 100% Buckwheat flour, which is healthier in my opinion. Texture is slightly firmer compared to typical soba. The cold soba comes with a mild spicy dipping sauce, and paired with Spanish White Pork slices. I also love their Deep-fried Small Wakasagi Fish, which is coated with Buckwheat flour batter and fried to crisp. Lovely place to taste some staple Japanese food

Goma Matcha Crepe - $14
·
Familiar French dessert with a touch of Japanese. Their goma matcha crepe is eye catching, with the all green appearance. Love the goma crumble scattered evenly in the middle, felt like extra thin version of min jiang kueh. Remover to pair the dessert with their array of hand-brewed tea, for a smooth ending

Guriru Oyster Rice - $18
Kurobuta Pork Belly - $12
·
Guriru menu is inspired by the Japanese Hamayaki, grilled over charcoal. I enjoyed their Guriru Oyster Rice, which had slow cooked Japanese rice with special sauce and hyogo oysters. Kurobuta Pork Belly is a great choice to pair with the rice. It’s so tender and flavourful thanks to their homemade yakitori sauce. Fugu Mirin Boshi ($14) is marinated puffer fish slices, with texture of bakkwa, is yummy by itself or even better when pairs with sake or beer

Lala Seafood Hotpot w PaoFan - $58
·
The large hotpot is filled with fresh seafood, and your typical hotpot sides. Lala was flambéed before soup was added into the pot, boosting the seafood taste. Don’t forget their signature paofan. Flavourful fried rice that soak up the soup when mixed in bowl, so shiok! Portion is good for group of 2-3 pax

Chunky Lobsters is known for its lobster rolls, but don’t worry if you don’t like lobster, restaurant offers alternative such as the Seafood Rose Carbonara. This kimchi fusion seafood pasta comes with fresh seafood, kimchi and tobiko, tossed in creamy sauce. That’s some flavourful pasta! I also like the appetiser Chilli Con Carne ($10), which comes with ground beef mixed in tomato base dip, onsen egg, parmesan and served with tortilla chips. Great for sharing

Murgh Malai Kebab - $22
Mutton Rogan Josh - $21
·
Modern restaurant that sells homely Indian cuisines. From their array of dishes, the chicken kebab (Murgh Malai Kebab) won my heart. Tender chicken that’s mildly seasoned with herbs, and cooked in traditional tandoor oven. Goes well with their Biryani. You can’t miss their wide range of curries! Mutton Rogan Josh comes with succulent mutton that’s braised in gravy till flavourful. Curries goes well with their thosai and naan
