Could even be the most tender piece of chicken breast.

Serving great indian-muslim cuisine since more than 100years ago. Zam zam’s murtabak is thumbs-up good! Crispy skin with no excess oil, together w overflowing minced mutton and chopped onion. Even a large seems too small for our appetites.

Crispy pork knuckle that’s comparable to authentic Germain pork knuckle from Brotzeit.

This regular Mentaiko Waygu Beef Bowl $21.90 NET was served with free flow shredded cabbage salad with japanese style sesame dressing. Top up $1 for a packet of Japanese green tea and free flow hot water. Considering the price, we were surely expecting a bigger portion. The beef slices were not as tender as how I have seen in many reviews. What’s more, about 30-40% of the beef in my bowl were purely fats....

Tagging along to the (seems like always) durian season, ordered this 2kg mao shan wang for $36. It came with satisfying small flat seeds, thick creamy texture and the bitter taste was ultimate 👍🏻 we were already very full from our korean fried chicken dinner, but still couldn’t resist grabbing this.

Heard so much about this famous Ping Kee Popiah stall at Sembawang Hills Food Centre, on how the unique use of Chinese sausages complemented the usual popiah ingredients so well..

I was really looking forward to it… but unfortunately greatly disappointed.

There was only ONE almost paper thin slice of Chinese sausage PER ROLL.

The disappointment did not end here, the popiah skin was extreme dry and difficult to chew, it’s like being left in open air for at least a day or so.

2 words could summary everything about this dish - oily and salty. The mouth coating effect from the excess oil masked the taste of ingredients wrapping in the roll. Oyster sauce was too salty.

Not of the dishes that I would recommend at Mongkok. No complain, zichar dishes are not really their specialty, except the beef horfun and seafood beehoon.

Had Geylang lor 9 beef horfun with complete satisfaction! $6 small portion was served with generous and extremely tender beef slices. Stir fried to create strong fragrance of wok!
