The famous UK pizza chain is opening its 4th restaurant in Singapore at Marina One. Meanwhile, we visited the 2-storey branch at Holland Village to try its popular Laksa pizza. We ordered our pizza in Romana style - 8 slices of paper thin crust. You can also have it in Classic style - 6 slices of slightly chewy but still relatively thin crust. Biting into my 1st slice and itâs like eating laksa in the dry solid form. The taste was so authentic, rich and not that spicy. Chefâs no stingy at all when it comes to toppings of prawn, mussels, squid, clams, qual eggs and fried beancurd (tau pok). Great try at $28.

Convenient place to get my popiah fix. $2.80 per roll is not cheap but its size does the justification. Taste wise more towards the sweet side, would always ask for more chilli to add on some savoury flavors.
Might even be the best âhotplateâ tofu from all my zichar experiences. The chef was being really generous with the use fresh prawns, minced meat and sliced mushroom in this dish. Portions of Japanese egg tofu were lightly fried till golden before being soaked in the slightly spicy-savory gravy together with the other ingredients. Hidden below is a layer of egg-bed, do remember to stir when itâs being served!

Great place in the West for your sudden cravings, wide range of durian species to select from, price ranging from $13 to $20 per KG.
We would always prefer honest durian sellers who update their prices daily, in written, so we wouldnât feel like they are just shouting a random number based on their mood. We went straight for the MSW. As for most durian sellers, itâs ĺ
ĺ here too! We had a seed from the freshly opened Mao Shan Wang and the bitter sweet ultra-creamy texture instantly put a smile on both of our faces.

Been so crazy about their rice flour original fried chicken that we barely have chance to try any other dishes on the menu.
This time we went with a larger group and finally⌠something new!
Wouldn't say Army Stew is my to-go Korean dish as I always thought itâs overpriced. $40 for a bowl of instant ramen, sausages, luncheon meat, tofu and kimchi⌠hmmmâŚđ¤
Nevertheless, it was a good try, the soup was very tasty (though I did get the after-effect of MSG overdose).

Finally got to try another house specialty at Babao during our latest visit - DURIAN SAGO. This is not any durian sago that you will get elsewhere, using real puree and chunky flesh of D24, every spoon is full of authenticity and richness. Guaranteed that it will be as satisfied as eating freshly opened durian.

Back here again cause I was craving for the signature combination - O Mamma Mia & 5 Terre. Both slices were as good as the first time!

Situated side by side with llao llao. The 2 sister chains were brought to Singapore by the same owner company.
For my first time, I have decided to follow advice of friendly staff who recommended both the âo mamma miaâ and â5 terraâ. Thanks to her, both well exceeded my expectation!
1-The O mamma mia (featured here) was generously topped with turkey ham, mushroom, tomato, mozzarella cheese and runny egg!! The combination is very much like Pancetta from Peperoni Pizzeria.
2-The 5 terra (in the background) looked so much less âcrowdedâ with ingredients but still managed to surprise me on the first bite. It has a unique rare combination of pesto sauce with parmesan, mushroom and tomato.
For the authentic taste and price of 4.20/slice,it will be loved (over Pezzo for sliced pizza).

We have tried this at the Holland V Fat Boyâs outlet, it seems like the recipe differs slightly.
I was more on the cheesy note previously, but this time, they were more generous with other ingredients (mushroom, bell pepper).
$11 for 4 slices.

First time trying this Spicy Hot drumlets from Fat Boyâs, very generous for the price. 10pcs for $11.50.
The drumlets were well coated with spices and chilli flakes, fried till crispy. I would not say the spiciness level is worth a challenge but nice balance with hint of spiciness and mild tongue-numbing effect afterwards.

Always going for the Fat Bastard $19.80 (including fries)! The gigantic burger was served with double beef patties, egg, bacon, cheese and onion, all sandwiches in between the sesame bun. The size can be very filling for one, so we decided to half it and share some sides.
At Fat Boyâs, you may choose to build your own burger too, with wide range of selection for buns, patties, toppings and sauces.
Upgrade your complementary Naked fried to any Specialty fries for $3.
Other must tries are hot spicy drumlets and grilled chicken quesadillas.

Deep fried till crispy, yet the pork strips remain tender on the inside. The fried garlic added some aroma factor to boost the whole dish. $6 for this generous plate. Thumbs up!
