Their americano ranged from P100 to P140. Decent taste with awakening effect. The best things are their WiFi and study corner! The fastest and stable I experienced in Cebu. .

Highly recommend! .

Surprisingly good burrito and other Mexican cuisine. Clean place, decent service and food for group. .
I won’t recommend the wings but highly recommend the taco and burritos. Nacho chips might be good starter if you are dinning with people you like. 😬 .

For every beverage, they provide one serving of French loaf. Excellent buttery pastry and they also provided warming up service. .

They had more than One branch which can be easily google for its location (Wildflour Cafe)

After ten courses down, there will always be space for dessert. .
Few main key ingredients for each dessert. One of my key favorite would be their TARO! .
The different display of texture surrounded with one single common ingredient. It’s sweetness was surprising comforting. Even after so many courses down, no heaviness was felt. GREAT!

Seared snapper, braised pork cheek and sous vide beef short rib. .
The execution of the fish was perfect. Nice crisp skin and flaky meat. BUT this hundred years old recipe was something I won’t try again. Overpowering cinnamon and sour sauce. đŸ˜±đŸ˜±đŸ˜±

I forgot about the name of the green “four leafs clover”. But the balance in the flavors were great. Savory pork, sweet potato and spicy clover. Insanely good. .
Sous vide Beef rib should be great. However one deadly downfall, it is way too saltyyyyyyy. .
Gallery VASK got their inspiration from local ingredients and local recipes but with a twist.

Kinilaw, Sauté Squid, freshwater shrimp and braised curry banana heart. .
Some dish didn’t totally made sense but some blown my mind. .
FIRST, the sautĂ© squid filled with “wok hei” but it didn’t seem sautĂ© at all! Soft tender squid clothed with savory smokey sauce. The technique and presentation and taste 💯. .
SECOND, instead of using mixing in the local fruit (tabon-tabon fruit), vinegar and coconut milk. They aged the tuna with kombu then topped with “kinilaw” sauce.

Last meal served in this kitchen. They will close their restaurant for mini renovation. .
Mini Pandesal, Wagyu Cracker with sour sauce, salted egg prawn, steamed chicken soup with umi sauce and seaweed, purple rice cracker with smoked mackerel, mustard leaf wrap. .
All of the starters had a contrast of texture. Interesting flavors based on traditional Filipino cuisine (Sour + Savory).

Braised mellow, grilled pork belly and deep fried sardines. .
Even though many ordered the belly, I didn’t really like it as the strong seasoning wasn’t connect with my palate. The mellow and fish were great. The mellow was so good that I ordered a second (sweet mellow + savory pork = perfection). They fried the sardine till crisp. So crispy that even it’s fin can be eaten. .

If you don’t mind a little run down but super fresh ingredients, this is the place for you. .

Ranked one of the best in Philippine by World Street Food Congress. Strongly seasoned by garlic. The skin stayed crispy even leave open for hours. Must try with their in house chili sauce. The strong acidic sauce balanced with the fatty-ness. .
One downfall was the store was so hidden. Upstairs of a petrol station! Even with google map, it took me awhile to look for the sign. .

Wide range of variety and attentive service crew. Their roasted meat was a little let down but other cooked food made up for it. In house made creep with apple sauce and topped with molten chocolate. Happy days.

Located right at the central of their CBD. Filled with energetic stall owners and smoke of BBQ. .
The local loved to visit the Malay stall, Korean Kimchi stall, BBQ Chicken stall, Pad Thai stall and their local “mixed” rice stall.
.
I loved the variety but their pricing at this area isn’t “cheap”. Highly recommend their BBQ chicken because I saw the Chef chopping up the chicken. Even the chicken breast was dripping with its juices. Something I Learnt at Philippine Food. Their SEASONING is NOT light. .
