Good food at very affordable price. Curry fish head and deep fried small squid were my favorite dishes. To make things better their service was tip top.

This might not be my favorite Thai soup dish. Because the soup always had a hint of porky smell. However, this place did a very good job. With the help of garlic and shallot and some spices, it successfully removed any trace of porky taste. The soup was so flavorful that it is better with glass noodle than rice. Do try their dry chili blend, super goood! The only downside was that there were only 3 small ribs found in the soup. *I added liver and intestine so your bowl might look a little different.

The owner might had gone mad. $15 a duck! Where would their profit be!!! Crazy Q at Chinatown outlet which might take you more than 3 hours. However I passed by their second outlet at Mohamed Sultan where they have NO Q. .

I am pretty sure they weren't using fresh duck but for its price, I can accept that they used frozen or fresh chilled ones. .
|
The "creator" cleverly used clove, cinnamon stick, garlic and other spices to mask the frozen taste. The duck came with "zero" fat which also mean it could be on the dry side. Thankful, the meat was really soft. So my conclusion, $15 was really worth it.

The idea was for the thick bun to soak up the juice of the patty. The caramelized onion, bacon and garlic mayo (I think) gave the overall seasoning to the taste. However, the size was a little too big for my liking. Even the patty was juicy, it was dripping out from the side. .

I would recommend to go for their lunch promo. $12 for burger instead of the regular $14.

I was captured by the videos on their hand pound chilli. I had always walked pass this ulu coffee shop and never knew that this place offered such good food. .
|
The uncle boiled the chicken till the bones fall apart then deep fried. The auntie hand pounded the chilli from scrap! The ox tail soup was rather salty but deep with flavors. Such good comfort which I would definitely visit again!

Super packed Prawn flavors. If you aren't allergic to shellfish, this is a must try dish. The char-ed shell infused a distinct smokiness. Right balance of saltiness and the taste of the sea.

Cast iron pot, olive oil, sliced garlic and chorizo. Mussel with gold ale created the awesome broth. Especially good for the bread to soak up the broth. Meaty savory. One of our favorite dish to order and eat.
|
Firebake served up freshly baked bread by their wood oven. Crazily good bread and I love their plates!

In house made chill and perfectly braised pork belly was the foundation of this tasty hawker stall. The bits of plum cut the fatty braised pork and improved on the overall visual. If you pass by this stall, please go and try! No regret.

Crazily operating hours which made it great breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Comforting broth and springy noodle. I would prefer the broth to be saltier and the sliced pork more complete. .

I had never been a fan of big breakfast. However @southunionpark had changed my mind. In house made muffin, cranberry sauce and harsh brown! This set the golden standard for all big breakfast in Town! .

Please go try it!!!!

In house made toast coated with egg and pan fried till light golden. Contrast of sweet and savory between the maple syrup and bacon. Lovely and tasted like Christmas.
