Tbh I'm not a cake person but this cafe always make me craving for cakes. Cakes in frame: (from above to below) Peanut Butter Chocolate (RM14.90), Banana Yogurt Cake (RM8.90) and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake (RM14.50). My favourite is Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, tho some of the people didn't feel it is special but I love the mixture of the taste between cheesecake and the vanilla bean (base of the cake) which is just nicely done. Second one would be Banana Yogurt. Was not expecting this to be so tasty when my friend told that it is their favourite and the thing is, you would never judge a book by its cover. It looks so simple yet the banana flavour is strong enough compare with those ordinary banana cake. Lastly, their Peanut Butter Chocolate is nice too. I'm not really a fans of peanut butter chocolate but this one, sweetness just on point. A piece of advice from me, make sure you pay them a visit earlier before office break cause there are full of office people that eat cakes during their break instead of hot food.

Surely ice cream as breakfast sounds like good idea but in frame named as Breakfast (RM12). One of the top seller in Softsrve. It is vanilla ice cream with caramelized cereal with strawberry. Simple yet nice. However the pricing is quite expensive compare with other similar cafe. The service crew is explaining to us patiently as this is my first visit. The place is not crowded during my visit on weekdays night.

The kopitiam is quite well known around the neighborhood due to the famous Hooi Kee Wan Tan Mee (開記雲吞麵)is located in the shop. This was my second visit for the wan tan mee but unfortunately, the wan tan mee is still closed due to Chinese New Year. So, was decided to take a quick grab at the kopitiam. Kopi (RM1.60 for small, RM1.80 for big and RM2.00 for take away). The price is still reasonable around the area, was expecting very strong aroma cup of traditional coffee, but it is not. Quite normal cup of traditional coffee. Half boiled egg (one for RM1.20), roti butter (RM1.60 per set) and roti kaya (RM1.30 per set) are something normal that you can get from the other common kopitiam. The service is quite slow. But still will be back because of the wan tan mee.

It is another Acái Bowl place around Mont Kiara and the thing that makes it difference with the other Acái Bowl place is their ingredients are mostly homemade, such as their granola and peanut butter. The Acái bowl come in 2 sizes, which is RM15.90 for small and RM21.90 for big size. Currently they are serving only three flavour for Acái Bowl. In frame: Rio Bowl. It is blended acái base with bananas, apple juice, strawberry, Acái Lab's homemade granola and honey. For the fitness people that looks for recharge, Muscle Up Bowl is definitely your choice. It is blended acái base with bananas, chocolate protein whey, coconut water, grapes, chia seeds and Acái lab's homemade peanut butter. The last one will be Harimau Malaysia Bowl, which is blended acái base with bananas, mangoes, vanilla ice cream, dragon fruit and Acai's Lab's homemade granola. Suggest to finish it while it still cold. If you are looking for not-so-common kinda Acái Bowl, Muscle Up Bowl should be suit your preference since their homemade peanut butter is quite suit my preference although I'm not a fans of peanut butter. Moreover, they also serve acái smoothies. Currently they share their shop with Brazil Fitness. The place is quite small, might not suitable for chilling a long time.

The cafe is located at the ground floor entrance of the IT specialist mall. Comparing to the franchises coffee shop, they not only providing coffee and pastries but also various of food. Food in frame: Avocado Smash with Maple Turkey Ham (RM21.50), avocado smashed with tomato, onion, coriander & lemon, maple turkey ham & poached egg on toast. Although I'm not a fans of avocado but this is quite good, plus their turkey ham is not overcook, just nice. To those avocado fans out there, you guys should order their Homemade Crumpet with avocado, scrambled eggs, pesto & pine nuts (RM22.50). Strong flavour of avocado might able to satisfy your tastebud. Their mocha (RM13.70) is strong in flavour. If you prefer stronger aroma of coffee, I suggest you to order long black (Signature RM10.20, Blue Mountain RM20.40). It might able to keep you sober while waiting your gadgets get fix at Low Yat Plaza. In my opinion, the pricing was slightly high and expensive, but it might be a good place for you to get some coffee fix around bukit bintang area.

The cafe is always full of crowd but somehow there are some reasons that keep attracting people to visit back the cafe. Although the price is slightly expensive compare with other cafes but the food is really delicious. Food in frame: The Impasta Returns! (RM25), aglio olio pasta served with in-house chicken char siu slices, tossed with tasty marinated soy beans. To be honest the aglio olio pasta taste like the traditional gon lou min to me but it is really delicious. Mocha (RM13) is great. Try to avoid going to the cafe during office break or else you might have difficulties of finding seats.

Was strongly recommended by my father about their pork noodle in Taman Yulek, Cheras. Food in frame: Zhu Rou Fen (RM6 for small and RM7 for big). The first thought of mine is why the price is so expensive compare with other pork noodle around kl. But when the food was served, the complain of mine was no longer there anymore. The pork noodle is full with pork meat, pork intestine, liver and lard. To be honest, the portion is very generous and very worth with the price. The soup is not really salty and aromatic compare with the usual pork noodles , but it is just suit my preference. And the surprising part is the pork intestine and liver. The pork intestine is very chewy and fresh, while the liver is very solid texture, which is very difference with the common pork noodle. Was ordered barley with yuba (RM1.70) and it is quite disappointing. But their Cham Ice (RM1.40) and Kopi Ice (RM1.40) are very nice and not stingy with coffee powder to let their customer can taste the strong flavour of traditional Kopi Ice. Was definitely come back again because of the generous portion. Currently open from 8am to 3pm. Closed on Sunday.

For those people who always go for food hunting around cafes, if someone asked which cafe is serving the most generous portion of food, I think the answer would be Frisson Coffee Bar. There's no doubt that the new Frisson that just renovated not only serving good food around Damansara Uptown, but also having good lighting, which also easy to capture some nice food photo for Instagram purpose. They are proceeding self service method, which taking the cutlery and water from the station all by ourselves. Food in frame (from above to below): Salted Egg Dory Fish Mac & Cheese (RM26.90) (lunch hour RM22.90), cheesy mac & cheese with mushrooms, curry leaves and olives with Frisson's rendition of Salted Egg on deep fried paprika dory fish. For mac & cheese lover out there, you should try this cause it is just cheesy enough, not those kind of over cook mac and cheese that ruin the texture of macaroni, plus the dory fish is really fresh. Recommend to share with others if you tend to try other dishes since the combination of salted egg and cheese will make people feel filling. Next, Baked Breakfast in a pot (RM26.90) (lunch hour RM22.90), baked eggs with a choice of minced beef OR vegetarian with potatoes, carrots capsicums and brinjals topped with cheese, infused with 19 different spices and also served with raisin bread. The combination are just right, plus the beef is tender enough. Lastly will be Aglio Olio (RM19.90) (lunch hour RM14.90), serve with sundries tomatoes, black olives, chili flakes and mixed herbs. Compare to others, the pasta is not oily and probably because of the strong flavor of other dishes, it is a bit of tasteless for me. The lunch hour promotion is only available on weekdays only, except public holidays, from 12pm until 3pm, and it is only for those that labeled with 'LUNCH' wording on the menu. The set lunch also include with choices of tea or juice, or top up RM5 for any drinks from their coffee menu.

Another smoothies bowl place that opened in Bon Estates Building, opposite to Bangsar Shopping Centre. It is quite easy to be found as the building is just beside the traffic light. If you are worry bout parking, they actually provide parking lot around the building, and no charge. The Golden Bowl (RM16.90) is a mango based smoothie bowl, which topped with fresh mango slices, chia seeds, bananas, blueberries, pumpkin seeds, goji berries and granola, while the Acai Bowl (RM21.90) is filled with dragonfruit, strawberries, coconut flesh and granola. Both are their signatures and for mango lovers, I strongly recommend the Golden Bowl, as their mango is really fresh and sweet. If you doubt their portion either is worth the price or not, believe me, you won't get disappointed with their portion and quality of their smoothies bowls. And also, it is better to share with two person for a bowl. We also ordered flat white (RM12) and latte (RM13), which are slightly expensive compare with other cafes. If you think their coffee is not strong enough, feel free to add on espresso shot with only RM1 top up. They also serving some cold pressed juices and some light foods.

Another new cafe at Tropicana Avenue, which is same place with Terracotta Cafe & Boutique. The cafe is quite easy to be seen as it is facing to the road. HAPP the flower cafe, which literally serving coffee, cakes, some pastries and flowers. The environment of the cafe is filled with blissful vibes and photogenic corners, which is quite enjoyable yet peaceful space for cafe hoppers. Probably it is still new around neighborhood, most of the people just passing by without walking in. Cakes in frame: Camomile Honey Cake (RM16) (front) and Summer (RM16) which are the best seller. The Camomile Honey Cake not only cute as how it looks but also nice to eat. The whole cake is edible, from the bee to honeycomb, which is made of white chocolate, cream on top and a vial of rich honey. Summer (the cake in red) is tasty too, featuring raspberry, strawberry and pistachio cake as base. However the texture is quite creamy. Would prefer more pistachio cake based on my own preference, due to the cake is 80% of creamy part and 20% of pistachio base. Both of the cakes are not that sweet, but it is preferable to be share with each other. We also ordered hazelnut latte (RM11) and Cappuccino (RM10). Moreover, they also serving frappucino, teas and soft drinks. Currently open daily from 10am to 11pm.

A new soft baked cookie place that can fix your craving that located at Sunway Nexis. To be specific, it is actually same row with Rimba & Rusa and in front of Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum. Their cookies are classified with Classic (RM2 per pc), Classic Deluxe (RM2.50 per pc), Volcano (RM3 per pc) and Volcano Deluxe (RM3.50 per pc), which I think it is very affordable and tasty to those who love soft baked cookies. They also having their grand opening promotion, which is buy 6 cookies to get 6 free and the promotion is valid until 14th January 2017. If you missed the promotion, they also provide The Box Pack to support your cookies party, which are The Six Pack (Buy 5 free 1) and The Dozen (Buy 9 free 3). Definitely a good opportunity to have some tidbits during your party. They also serving ice cream sandwich (choice of cookies and ice creams) and also some value meals (A puff, a cookie and a cup of fountain drink) that price from rm9.50 to rm13.50 only if you feel want to get some hot food. Beverage in frame: Cappucino (RM7). They also serving milkshakes (from RM8), frappes (from RM9) and fountain drinks (from RM4). In my opinion I think it is a good place to chill or enjoying your own moment, plus the place is really near to MRT Surian, which is very convenient for people to reach the place.

Another first-floor cafe that located at Petaling Street, same row with Coffee Amo. It's quite easy to be found since the entrance is a vintage glass door with the 'Cafe Einstein' sticker on it. Food in frame: Buttermilk Chicken with Rice (RM15). The taste of the food is as nice as the photo. Was thought the sauce will be too much but surprisingly it is just nice. The not satisfied part is the foreign service crew gave me a wrong information about the food and tea and the excuse from the other local service crew was he don't understand what I need, which is quite unprofessional. Luckily the food is not bad at all. Was not crowded yet peaceful during my visit. The price is quite affordable as it meant to attract students and working adults around Petaling Street. The parking is quite tricky but you can park at the basement parking lot of 5 Elements Hotel which is just located in front of the cafe. However, the official Facebook of Einstein Cafe is looking for people to take over the whole cafe. Will looking forward to the upgrades soon.
