About last night... I started with my favorite Manhattan Old Fashion with Rye concoction (not in photo) then went on to try their WOODFORD BOULEVARDIER (Woodrow Reserve Bourbon with Mancino Rosso and Campari) for [SGD27++] I really love the strong flavor of bourbon and then ended off with a high note of KINOBI NAVY STRENGTH for [SGD31++] just had go for a gin to end my night.

I am loving the fact that @manhattan_sg opened on a Sunday night and I’m addicted with their BBQ popcorn it was too irresistible!!! .

I’ve a recent craze about checking all the Asia’s best bar in Singapore. So I pay a visit to the eighth seat #8 bar on the Asia's 50 Best Bars list, a hidden second-floor sanctum on bustling Amoy Street that's dedicated to all things regional.

I was greeted with a shot of Sparkling sake while checking out the gins available. Not only the usual label, Native distilled their own Gins with flavors concoction. So I chose YUZU GIN ($19++), and to my surprised it’s actually not that sweet and I love it. I was introduced to KAVALAN GIN and it’s really good. Then, to end off my night on a high note - I went on to support locally produced TANGLIN GIN ($20++). .

The only down side was to paid for the bar snack - Papadam for ($2++) other than that everything was fantastic! Not only did I enjoyed myself, the drinks were damn good and the service was fabulous. Kuddos to @davejony and team at @nativebarsg for the excellent service!

Stumbled upon this establishment through Jpassport and realised there’s lunch promotion going on for the month of March. I have not been to Japan Food Town ever since open, so might as well. The star ingredient of @sabar_singapore is Saba (Mackerel), that includes sashimi, sushi and zuke bowl so if you’re a Saba love like I am this is a place to visit.

I have ordered the Grilled Toro-Saba (usual price is $25) but today is only SGD11.90, what a steal! Added $4 for set meal that consist of Yamagata “Haenuki” Rice, pickles, cold tofu and soup that I only to eat 10% of it. Using the JPassport app I was entitled for free Toro-Saba Sushi which was really yummy while waiting for my grilled fish.

This grilled mackerel is definitely one of the MOST juicy, thick and the freshest I have ever had! I was shocked by the “38”cm long for what’s worth. It’s well-grilled to retain the moistness of the meat, the skin was lightly salted with 3 assorted salts that makes it so crispy with the little tinge of charred. This meal was a 10/10 for me, I enjoyed myself to its bone! 😜

Konjiki Hototogisu Ramen was recently awarded one Michelin Star in Tokyo Michelin Guide 2019, and they are popular for its clam and pork broth.

Their signature Oyster Ramen is available in two iteration: Oyster Shio Ramen (Clear Soup Based) and Oyster Paitan Ramen (Creamy Miso Based) are only available at Great World City Outlet.

I enjoyed the simplicity and more refined taste of their Oyster Shio Ramen broth as compared to the creamy miso Oyster broth, as I could taste the subtlety of the original broth. Both Ramens were served with Sous Vide Cha Shu (literally melts in your mouth)on whole grain noodle that were pretty chewy (I personally prefers firmer noodles). I have added $4.90 for their char grilled pork belly which was so damn tender and juicy + half onsen egg that were super flavourful. Everything was superciliously delicious, if there’s such an expressive word. Rating: 10/10

Overall, it’s probably the best ramen that I ever had in Singapore. The noodle could be firmer though but I would definitely visit their first outlet in Chijmes for its famous pork broth. 😋

Roasted Pumpkin Salad served with quinoa, cranberries, pinenuts, green beans, pickled beetroots, pumpkin seeds & whey dressing by the side. I have added house-Smoked ocean trout ($8+) as I needed to get some protein in!
Stumbled upon this pastry shop after my lunch at Kan Sushi, had a taste of freshly baked cheese tart and it blew my mind! I was shocked that it actually taste less sweet than the famous BAKE cheese tart and the best thing was IT’s STILL WARM! 😋
This definitely worth the money and it was served hot. I love it.
