Read so many good things about this dish, expectations were elevated, sat down and ordered, expectations were met. I’d come back for this, even without the 1-for-1, and to me, that’s the biggest testament to how much I like a certain meal

This beefy bowl runs up to $28, which is exorbitant but with the Burpple Beyond deal, certainly acceptable. They spammed the truffle button on this one, which complements the meat but I’ll argue it’s way too overbearing. Meat is tender and delicious, all in all still a nice eat

Honestly, what a great find. Can’t read nihon so I can’t tell you what these are, but you can find these sherbet balls of pure delight in the section where they usually keep their ice creams. They melt satisfyingly in your mouth, with just the right amount of sourness + sweetness that you’ll enjoy. Just try it and thank me later

Rivals your run the mill Ya Kun and Toast Box, pretty decent set for a light bite. Those eggs were on steroids and the baguette-y sandwich was satisfying to gnaw on

Can’t really go too wrong with some chocolate coffee to usher in the weekend, it’s Friday Friday gotta get down on Friday

Very worthwhile with 1-for-1 certainly, they serve chunky salmon cubes buried in copious amounts of mentaiko. It can get very jelat and cumbersome after awhile so best recommended to be shared with your pal or SO. Chiraishi always do well on Burpple and it’s easy to see why so, good premium ingredients on a good price point

Coincidentally chanced upon it after a merchant meeting nearby. You get 2 chunks of pork ribs and 2 reasonably sized prawns. Had to wait for about 30minutes during the lunch crunch time but it’s pretty decent, satisfied my savoury craving really well

Coins retains the nice crisp of their regular pratas, but that added density gives it a lovely chewiness to the overall taste profile. The coins are also coated very lightly with some sugar, and when paired with that ridiculously good dabble of Chili paste (which is rare to see in prata servings), this was a sin I was content with committing. Once in a blue moon snack that’s worth my while.

Not my best pun by a long shot, but this was great. The soup base is unique, having the lightness of shoyu, and also the fragrance of tonkotsu. Runs up to roughly $17 a bowl so not the cheapest of options, but still a good eat from time to time

This is just straight up value town. I was ravenous after training that I swear I can eat a cow, but this bowl was so filling and scrumptious it was able to satisfy me at the low low cost of merely $5.6?!(w Burpple Beyond)

The udon was thick and slurpy, the broth hearty and substantial with the egg mixed into it. They didn’t scrimp on their beef slices, and it was free flow tempura bits and seaweed. This was such a great find, certainly will come back again when I’m done with my exercise.

Feeling rather nostalgic of the schnitzels in Berlin, decided to try Happy Chef, next to the ever popular Michelin Star Bar Chor Mee. They were certainly no slouch, as proven with their western food offerings here. For the price you pay, this was delicious and I would very likely revisit to try their other meat courses. I did find the schnitzel too salty tho, if they have dialed it down on that it’ll be great! Hopefully that’s just a one off thing, coming back in the future~
