If you're a fan of cold and chewy noodles, be sure to try this. Served with natto [fermented soy beans], okra [ladies' finger], and grated mountain yam, this dish is said to have numerous health benefits too!

Crowned with mussels and prawns, Marriott Cafe's tomato risotto is reminiscent of Spanish paella – a tangy mash of flavours and abundant mix of ingredients. Although a serving pads the stomach down well, it leaves us hankering for more. We reckon you'd be better off trying this last – it's so good you'll want seconds! Just be sure to save some stomach room for dessert.

Save those plane tickets – you can now get a taste of Tokyo’s Number 1 Chicken Ramen, Menya Takeichi at our very own Suntec City. The perfect marriage of simmered fresh chicken and chicken feet results in a delightful collagen-rich broth, with an infusion of chili powder that brings "spicy" to a whole new level – you've been warned.

Cool tip: Each table comes with a jug of clear soup peppered with bonito flakes, so you can adjust the flavour of soup if it comes off too strong, or in this case, too spicy. Can you take the heat? 📷 @lingamajig

Good textures and flavors run high in this twist of the classic French dish. Chili and tobiko add an interesting kick of Asian spice and crunch, making for an ideal bar bite or appetizer. 📷 @oliviagiroud

Traditional meets modern contemporary in this unique dessert. The iron-fried Japanese tofu is served with a variety of fruits, topped off with Akari's house-made sauce of egg yolk, granulated sugar and fruit liqueur. We haven't had anything quite like this. 📷 @oliviagiroud

Lamb may not suit everyone's palette, but these chunks of lamb are deliciously fork-tender, adding flavor and diminishing gaminess in one fell swoop – sautéed in balsamic vinegar.

Fell upon this quiet little eatery at the back of Gangnam Exit 5's Paris Baguette while on the way to Meal Rice, and so glad we did! The kimchi stew is rich and robust, thicker than the stew we had at Meal Rice [and cheaper too], and thankfully, less spicy too! Loved the kimchi so much we finished a second dish of it. #GourmetAdventuresInSeoul

It's the weekend! Time to get your drink on. A mix of vodka, elderflower liqueur, grapefruit, and tonic – one Mariko's many cocktail creations that fits in nicely with the bar's sexy, Japanese izakaya vibe.

How bout some Japanese cocktails tonight?
