Shish tauok 28++ Their chicken is really done marvelously. I mean it could have been a bit more crispy but otherwise it's very well charred and tender. I liked the rice too, it's well separated and has a bite. On top of that there's a spice permeating the rice but my partner didn't like the spice. It's not too strong though

Lamb chop w moussaka 35++ Tbh I ordered it for the moussaka The lamb was overcooked and somewhat tough, but passable. Their moussaka is really good tho, very creamy and full of spiced aroma, without being jelak. The tastes of the various veggies come through nicely too

Grilled Meat Board | $138.80 Finally tried one of the most famous Greek cuisine spots in Singapore after all the procrastination. Really wanted the seafood platter, but got really unlucky as all kinds of fish were out of the stock then - so went for the grilled meat board which had lamb, sirloin, and filet mignon. No regrets. The meats were all beautifully bursting with flavour. Preferred the filet mignon over the sirloin because it was more tender, and also less chewy. The greatest of the board was the lamb chop - tender, fall of the bone kind of deliciousness, with none of that overpowering gaminess. Rate:🌟🌟🌟🌟

Xtapodi | $39.80 If you’re a fan of grilled octopus, please put this on your bucket list. One of the best I’ve tried, even though it’s marinated simply with vinegar and olive oil. The smokiness from the grilled octopus was terrific, and the texture was impeccable - not too mushy or soft, nor too chewy (you know how octopus gets sometimes). Missing it already🫠 Rate:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Mykonos All Time Famous Dip Platter Soft, warm pieces of grilled pita bread with three types of dip: eggplant, fava, and taramosalata (cod roe and olive oil). Excellent dips, though they could have been more generous with the bread.

Delicious Barachirashi Had the barachirashi, monaka cracker with Uni and Truffle, salmon sashimi with renkon crackers and sweet potato croquette. I don’t drink so I’d skip the salmon sashimi with renkon (lotus root) crackers, I’d imagine it pair very well with alcohol. What stood out was the sushi rice in the barachirashi, great balance of flavours that complimented the seafood medley. Uni was of good quality.

Peruvian Dream ($22++) Clean finish of pandan. As an avid pandan lover, this ranks as one of the best cocktails I have had. EVER. 😍

Tempura Udon Came here for the 1 for 1 classic tempura udon ($26.80++) using the entertainer app. There is the hot version as well as the cold version. I like that the prawn tempura is big and suculent compared to other tempura prawn I have tried before. The hot udon broth was delicious with its salted shoyu taste. Overall, it is delicious and worth it for 1 for 1.

Service lacking graciousness very confusing Burpple Beyond rules for this establishment, so we clarified w the waitress, who told us that the tacos were 2 for 1, that the pair of more expensive tacos would be charged. But when we made payment, it turned out that we were informed wrongly. Yet, the cashier on duty did not give us the 1-for-1 as the waitress had initially told us. Extremely disappointed with their lack of graciousness in recognizing their own error

Assorted Sashimi “TEN Special” ($58++) It's presentation on point with vibrant colours & a wide variety laid out on ice 🧊 to maintain freshness. Expect 🐟 cuts like Maguro (tuna), Hamachi (yelllowtail), Salmon (sake), Hirame (flounder), Saba (mackerel), Hotate (scallop), Amaebi (sweet shrimp) 🦐, Tako (octopus)🐙, Ika (squid) 🦑 etc. Not the freshest I have tasted though.

Homemade Tamagoyaki ($9++) I always marvel when chefs create memorable out of commonplace ingredients. Take egg that is deftly beaten and folded layer by layer for example; that births Japanese Tamago. The version at Ten Sushi pays good tribute to the simple yet painstakingly prepares Japanese dish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you’d order this dish when you patronise the F&B establishment.

Tuna Belly 5pcs ($18++ U.P.) When a Japanese restaurant serves unabashedly thick slices of sashimi, you know they are confident about their produce. That is exactly what you find at Ten Sushi; in addition, mind you that you get 1 for 1 with Burpplebeyond for ala carte, non-assorted sashimi orders. The salmon, salmon belly and tuna we had, were approved by my sashimi loving family and we have definitely bookmarked Ten Sushi and Marusuya outlets to satiate future Sashimi cravings.

Unagi Omelette My year 2021 ended with several fun filled dinner with drinks, one I particularly enjoyed happened at this semi-causal Japanese joint. The food was straight forward along with this crowd pleasing sake I picked. I also learnt about SMV and rice polishing ratio courtesy of Google as I chose this bottle. We had a bottle of sake and a drink each, with about 3 rounds of side food and some rice- that worked out to be $60+/pax. I reckon I would be paying more else where for a similar dining experience.

Dashi-zuke Lunch Set Portion is just right, lunch sets (mainly all dashi-zuke) are as it is, not much variety like their dinner menu, so fewer drinks, and sides available. Lunch is somewhat crowded, dwindle down by 1pm, good to make a reservation. And be sure to check their monthly special.
