I confess - I have a terrible weakness for this fancy looking roll with an equally fancy name. It has a battered and fried jumbo prawn inside the entire length. Across the top of the roll is laid white fish meat before that's covered with mentaiko and torched to luscious umami creaminess.
If you are into prawn heads, the one here is deepfried till crunchy so you can chomp on it too if you like.

$64.80 on weekdays, $69.80 on weekend. Biggest collection of wagyu meats at a jap buffet ive seen.

I like it. Creamy thick soup base with thin Hakata style noodles. But I am kind of sure there are better ones around.
Send your recommendations over, hopefully I don't have to queue too long!

It's not Ichiran, Ippudo or Santouka.

But 'burnt' Gogyo 五行 ramen near Nishiki market at Kyoto. The blackish looking burnt miso ramen came with a layer of black, char-like specks on top.
The broth is said to be cooked up to 300 degrees! Resulting in a soup that is spectacularly rich which is hot from the first till the last drop. Hugely satisfying. The bad: my throat still feels the heat now.
Off to find good ramen in Tokyo next. Before that, watch the flames!

They had two version - normal $19.90 and Wagyu $25.90. .

Break the soft boil egg and let it flow into the beef sauce. Flavored the rice with the sauce and provided a very smooth and comfort texture. I love the natural buttery flavor from the steak, so I ordered medium rare. .
