Words (and this photo) cannot describe how much I enjoyed the food at Muchachos. It certainly raised the bar for Mexican cuisine (in SG). The quesadilla is super crispy with a generous amount of stuffing and the right amount of quesa (cheese). Itโ€™s super busy during office lunch hours so do come early to chope a seat and avoid the long queue. ๐ŸŒฎ

Tried the signature fish maw soup base with wagyu beef, pork, wanton and lettuce. They also served us clams on the house! Pretty decent place if you like steamboat.

What I like about the mutton soup is the herbal taste and it does not have any strong mutton smell as the broth is mixed with lots of onions, garlic, parsley and wolf-berries. The meat is tender and chewy. It is the type of dish that goes well with rice.

Brotzeit is not only famous for its pork knuckles. It has seasonal menus that celebrate the German tradition. The Spring menu in April featured the White Asparagus which is the king of vegetable for the Germans. We tried the white asparagus soup which was sweet and creamy!

Waa Cow serves flame torched donburi or Japanese rice bowls. I tried its signature wagyu beef rice bowl and topped up a few dollars more for mentaiko sauce. The wagyu beef was tender and flavourful. Thereโ€™s a bit of queue during CBD lunch hours but the wait was worthwhile.

Tapas Club offers great Spanish food at a good price. We tried the paella served with ibรฉrico pork & mushrooms. Besides the paella, we ordered tapas like the ibรฉrico pork collar steak and the grilled octopus. We really like the pork collar steak because the meat was tender and juicy. The grilled octopus meat was a little too salty for our liking. We also tried classic tapas like the ham and mushroom croquettes, the eggplant chips with honey and the Spanish omelette. I recommend the pork/squid paella, ibรฉrico pork collar steak and ham croquettes! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Had lunch at So Good Char Chan Tang today. We tried the Hong Kong Boat Porridge, roast meat (Mix of 3 meat of your choice) and also side dish like the rice noodle roll, the french toast and the polo bun set with ice milk tea. Really liked the food here- we even ordered some egg tarts and CNY nian gao from the bakery next door! Good food at affordable price! ๐Ÿ˜‹

The oyster omelette from Fatty Weng is neither too greasy nor dry and the amount of oyster is extremely generous. You can choose the portion based on the price tag ($5/$6/$8/$10). For us, we usually get the $5 portion and it is already quite filling for a meal.

Itโ€™s called Crazy Shake for a reason. The strawberry shake, topped with lots of cotton candy and lollipops, felt decadent for the obvious reason. Only recommend for people who have a sweet tooth.

We tried the lobster linguine, the mac & cheese and the cheesesteak sliders for dinner. I enjoyed the lobster linguine but the meat portion could be more generous. The sides like the sliders are slightly overpriced as well considering the portion. I was expecting a lot from the mac and cheese based on the good reviews but it was just alright for me- nothing special or noteworthy to bring to the table.
