We tried the uni at two different stalls. The first one was better and fresher than the other one (with seaweed). Otherwise uni tasted really good. It may be better in Hokkaido though. πŸ¦ͺ

Fresh oysters- they can be served raw or grilled. πŸ¦ͺ

Forget mister donut: I found my favourite kind of donut and it's a creme brulee donut! I really like this street snack. It's unique and tasted just right- not too sweet like other donut brands- for me. 🍩

Another Japanese set lunch but at Arashimaya. I liked the Wagashi here, which was the Dango but placed in a bamboo instead of a stick. 🍑

Before we departed for Kyoto, I tried the Omi Gyu at one of the resting stops in Osaka. Omi Gyu is considered one of the top 3 Wagyu beef in Japan so I definitely had to try it. The Croquette tasted really good! πŸ–

We tried the soba noodles at a restaurant with over 100 years of history at Osaka. It also came with a set consisting of the sides and Wagashi. 🍜

It's Spring in Japan so I had to try the Ichigo Wagashi which symbolises the start of spring. The strawberries in both desserts were fresh and sweet. I recommend the Wagashi over the Ame as the latter (candy coating) is too sweet for me. πŸ“

Takoyaki is one of my favourite Japanese street food to try at Osaka. We tried the famous one at Dotonbori. It's good! πŸ™

After feeding the deers🦌, we fed ourselves at one of the nearby restaurants. It's a Japanese lunch set meal consisting of the usuals such as the main (Udon) and the Wagashi.

Birthday meal 🎈

What we had:
+ Crispy chicken
+ Yam ring with scallop
+ Fried prawn with mayonnaise
+ Sea cucumber vege soup
+ Fried noodle
+ Longevity bun

Nice buns πŸ˜‹

This restaurant had a great view of the waterfall and the birbs at the Crimson Wetlands. We managed to get a good seat by the window. 🐦

What we had:
+ Clam chowder for starters
+ Duck leg confit/Signature laksa for mains
+ Poached Pear and (Birthday) Lava Cake for desserts

We liked the dessert the most. The staff was super friendly and we had a great birthday celebration here. 🎈

We visited one of the famous kelongs in Indo. Great sea view with relaxing vibes.

What we had:
+ Fresh lobster
+ "Gong gong" or conch
+ Seafood stew
+ Other dish like calamari, fried noodles and vege

I like the gong gong the most. It is a quintessential dish when you're at Indo.
