YAY TO 1 FOR 1! (with Burpple Beyond, as usual heh)

We got 2 medium Hawaiian bowls. They're topped with bananas, grapes, kiwis, berries, chia seeds, almonds, granola, coconut flakes &a choice of syrup - Honey, Almond Butter and a few more. They're not that generous with the syrup, but that saves me some calories then! Theirs is a blend of red dragonfruit &acai. Alittle more liquidy compared to Project Acai's but less sweet.

Good bowl to tuck in after working out!

Was here for Burpple's 2018 Celebration!

Oh boy, they just served food endlessly to our tables! We tried many different tacos &quesadillas! They're all very well made, the flavours went really well together. Would highly recommend their kimchi pork quesadillas &baja fish tacos! Also, do give their dessert a try - nutella nachos! Little did i know that these corn chips can go so well with sweet ice cream! Pleasantly surprised.

They've quite a variety of craft beers from the tap too! This place is good for winding down on Friday nights!

Tried the Kyoto Matcha Latte, as well as the popular Kebun Earl Grey Latte. Both are cashew mylk (milk) based! It seems that they make their cashew milk in-house because I spotted jars of cashews that were soaked in water (or mayb it's a secret solution X hahah). They brewed the tea upon order before mixing it into the milk. Though the shop is small, it has a cosy vibe to it! They seem to make their drinks really intricately too.

At $5.50 each and exuding the light charm of cashews' fragrance, worth a try! The nutty milk does make the drinks taste different. I wouldn't say that I'm a fan but i wouldn't mind having it again i guess! &Oh, it's vegan if you're wondering (;

One of my favourite prawn mee places in SG! ♡

Had the jumbo prawn mee ($11.80), and pig tail + prawn mee ($5.80, small). The small portion certainly isnt small at all! It's a normal portion of noodles with quite a few chunks of pig tails!

The soup is just as good as the past few times i had it. Not overly sweet/rich, making you have one spoon after another! You just can't stop! Most important of all, no thirst after the meal - MSG FREE (i guess?).

Both the jumbo &normal prawns are fresh &firm to the bite. I don't need lobster noodles, this is perfect enough for me..

It's a small shop tucked at the corner of the road. It seems like there isn't a crowd when i reached at 12.40pm on a Friday. But, was told that the wait would be 35min long. The team seems busy, alittle frantic &disorganised when taking in my order. Only gave me a receipt upon my request. No queue number, nothing.

Got my order of 2 lobster rolls (1 maine style &another with mentaiko). They simply called out the items, checked my receipt &viola, mine. What if there's another person who had the same order as me? 🤔

The bread is pretty crusty and fluffy. Lobster meat was definitely a decent portion! A steal for the price, i would say! Lobster doesn't taste particularly sweet but for the price, no qualms. Ambience of dining there would be a 0 out of 5 stars. If you dont mind that, this hearty seafood bread is super value for money. Maybe, it'll be a good idea to dabao it back to office &savour it in a more comfortable environment.

Affordable coffeeshop food is quite a rare find in CBD! But circular road is littered with some of these pocket-friendly lunch options. This dry mee sua ($4) has a substantial amount of noodles &ingredients. The ikan bilis were extra crispy. Right amount of vinegar too!

Icing on top of the cake? The uncle is really friendly &humourous. Makes queuing in the warm afternoon alot more bearable.

The cafe was really crowded on a Sunday! Couldn't find seats when i first stepped into the place on a Sunday afternoon. People were in small huddles, chattering away. We found a spot with a standing table &ordered our drinks. Not too long after, an old couple left &we sat there, chatting the afternoon away just like many others.

This place is a really good to just chill away! The full glass windows allow you to stare out into a corner of the Chijmes garden &at the cathedral.

Iced white is pretty good but i cant say the same for the Iced Mocha. The chocolate and coffee were each in the world of its own, their flavours didn't go well together.

Featured above is their Tonkotsu Char Shu Ramen.

The broth is cream-white in colour and tastes so rich! Usually rich pork broths tend to be really salt-laden. This version is completely not, which really amazes me. I almost finished the entire bowl of soup *SLURPS* &fyi, i didn't feel thirsty after that!

The noodles are thin while the char shu is really tender. The spicy version is just as good with a slight kick at the back of every sip. However, the spicy bowl wasn't served with the egg (not sure if they missed it out or that's how it's supposedly served).

Remember to use your Burpple Beyond for this! For ramen, excluding Ebi Miso Ramen &the Yuzu one! (based on what the staff told me)

Add-on: We got so tempted by their tendons and end up ordering their tempura prawns too! Batter is light &crispy. Can try!

Priced at $58++ per pax, the set includes an appetiser, choice of TWG festive tea and this 3-tier cabinet of sweet x savoury bakes.

The tea tasted really too light for our liking. We tried 3 different flavours and they're all very mild in scent (even after soaking the tea bag for a very long while).

All 3 tiers of pastries didn't leave us impressed. Not even one. The term 'disappointed' is perhaps an understatement. In our opinions, t's just a fancy looking high tea, without any food that left us smiling, making our bellies satisfied.

Wouldn't recommend this!

Thin crust, crispy edges &generous amount of parma ham as well as wild rockets!

Usually pizzas elsewhere tend to have a thick spread of the tomato paste on the crust. But this one has only a thin layer of it, hence the pizza doesn't taste too heavy in flavour! There's parma ham in every bite and the rockets give your palate a good cleanse. This combi nv fails! We wished that the parma ham wasn't baked together with the pizza thou, we prefer them more undercooked to retain the natural aroma of the meat.

One of the lightest pizza i had, totally not jelat! I particularly love the crispy, airy edges. They've this scent of the dough.. sooo gooood~ &Not to forget, their chilli flakes are really spicy and fragrant! Go easy on that.

The truffle cream smells mega rich yet the taste isn't overpowering like many other truffle-flavoured food out there! The scent is so alluring and only leaves us wanting more! The texture is similar to that of cream mushroom soup, coating the pasta well. Scallops are cooked to perfection, not overcooked with those dry flaky texture! We could also taste that the prawns are those sea prawns, not those frozen farmed ones! Fresh &succulent.

The egg pasta are cooked al dente but i wish they can be slightly more chewy (aka QQ)! This was my boyfriend's favourite dish! We even dipped the crust of the pizza into the leftover truffle sauce. FINGER LICKING GOOD!

The mushroom caps are stuffed with crabmeat &prawn, then baked and drizzled with gorgonzola sauce!

The dish exudes natural flavours &sweetness of the ingredients without being overly seasoned. Covered in a blanket of fluffy white sauce, the dish is being elevated to another level of goodness! This simple dish hits all the right notes &is my favourite dish of the night!
