Everything about it was good, especially the salted egg baked bun! Will definitely be back for another visit!

Was good but wasn’t mind blowing! (Used to be better in my memory tho) but had this with beef ribs cream pasta, mustard cheese egg roll (sounds weird but it was goooood - recommend sharing >3 ppl cos can get gelat after 2nd piece) & the ever so good crabmeat fish roe rice balls 🥰👌🏻

Meltingly tender juicy bone-in beef short rib with a delicious Korean sweet soy marinade, which was an excellent complement to the generously marbled meat. Just look at that sear on the meat! Unlike American and European-style short ribs, which include a thick slice of bone-in beef, Korean-style short ribs are cut lengthwise across the rib bones resulting in a thin strip of meat. (Flaken meat) Nonetheless, you still get that mandatory fall off the bone texture!

Enjoy this with the makgeolli (Korean rice wine). They serve the original along with tons of interesting flavors!

Don’t miss out on the deal to try this using the 1-1 Burpple Beyond app (there are some exclusions, please check T&C, but this item is applicable for redemption from meat section)

1. Choose your fish.
2. Choose your soup base and spice level.
3. Choose your add-ons.
4. Enjoy it while it’s piping hot.

The fish is extremely fresh and not overcooked at all. Soup base isn’t too salty and for us it was the right amount of spice.

We had the Beef Teriyaki ($6.90) and Smoked Chicken ($5.50) and thanks to my girlfriend’s Burpple Beyond we only paid $6.90 for both of them!!!

Honest and simple ingredients done right with the highlight being the buttered toast made with thick fluffy white bread! Crispy and aromatic! Everything is cooked upon order just like how toast is supposed to be eaten, hot and crisp!

Smoked Chicken sandwich was honest goodness with scrambled eggs and cheese topped with shredded chicken meat and mayonnaise. Nothing fancy but delicious nonetheless!

Beef Teriyaki was really good with the beef coming in a “pulled-pork” texture that gels really well with the sandwich bread as well as the egg yolk that was mixed into the beef! The toast also soaks in the teriyaki sauce which adds umami flavour to the toast!

Definitely recommend!

By the good people behind Bedok's Refuel Cafe comes two-week-old Fuel Plus+ in Telok Blangah. Tucked away on Morse Road, between Telok Blangah and Harbourfront MRT stations, the light-filled cafe serves up affordable and hearty options for brunch, lunch and dessert. We enjoyed the Rosti, Egg and Sausage ($16) and the Honey BBQ Babyback Ribs ($19), though we do wish they could have been more generous with the barbecue sauce. Judging from the reviews on Burpple, it seems like the Burpple community also has good things to say about the Bacon Aglio Olio ($15) and Soft Shell Crab Curry ($18). Portion sizes are generous so don't fill up too quickly with drinks — go for their wonderfully balanced and robust Piccolo Latte ($4.50). The service is enthusiastic and efficient, and prices are nett.
Avg Price: $25 per person

The sandwiches are legendary at this snazzy joint. With 1-for-1, you never have to choose between the Patty Melt ($17) and the PB & J ($8) again. Share both with your favourite colleague for a not-sad lunch.

Keisuke's new 22-seater in Bugis+ takes a crack at omurice, and it turns out to be great value for money. Priced from $9.90, the set features perfectly swirled eggs blanketing tomato rice, tasty sauce (go with tangy demi-glace!) and a side salad. Given the sizeable portion of rice, skip the Combo ($12.90) that comes with pasta and spend the cash on their tender, tasty Chicken Hamburg ($3) side instead.

Now open in Marina Bay Sands, this stalwart American brand does their diner concept justice with stellar burgers and exceptionally elaborate (and delicious) milkshakes. Go for the Old-Fashioned ($22) with prime beef patty, caramelised onions and Swiss cheese — a classic. Don't miss that sharp horseradish dip on the side for a flavour boost!
