Ordered the small bowl ($4.80) and Iām surprised itās packed full of minced meat and other ingredients. The sauce has a good balance of spice and vinegar. The noodles are super satisfying and this is one of my favourite BCM in Singapore š
Must order!!! Onion rings are sliced thinly and fried in crispy batter. The mystery sauce that accompanies it is so good. My friend and I finished it before the mains came š I wouldnāt mind coming back just to have these onion rings š„ŗ Highly addictive!
Good portion for ladies but might not be enough for big eaters. The sauce matches well with the steak and the sides are decent. Worth it with Burpple one-for-one deal. Cafe was quiet even during lunch hours despite being in town - hopefully more people will show their support!
Originated from Kyoto, % Arabica was founded by a man who wants to live a simple and down-to-earth life and needs an amazing cup of coffee every day. Itās a beautiful belief and I could really resonate with this philosophy of founder, Kenneth Shoji.
The Cafe Latte ($8 for tall) was milky and smooth, with a good balance of nuttiness. The star is surprisingly the Matcha Latte ($9.60 for tall), it beats any of the major coffee chains hands down. Even with the milky body, you could taste the richness of the matcha. I would probably not return for the coffee, but I will certainly be back for more matcha latte when I deserve a treat! š
I love love love this dish so much. Salmon was cooked perfectly, with crispy skin and flaky inside. The hummus paired well with other components (cauliflower, tomatoes, pomegranate seeds), making it a harmonious and complete dish. 50% off mains with Burpple Beyond is so worth it! The flat white ($5) was great too, it reminded me of coffee in Melbourne 𤩠Canāt wait to be back for more!
Buttery toasted brioche coupled with generous serving of fresh lobster is pure bliss. I love how the warm bun contrasts with the cold lobster. Highly recommend this over the whole lobster ā¤ļø
Went on a Saturday around 5pm and did not make a reservation. Staff told us that the waiting time is around an hour, however they called us after 15 min saying they have a bar table for us and we gladly took it :) Read the reviews that grilled version is better than steamed so we opted for that. Lobster is super fresh and feels alright to break down while following the instructions shown in the menu. Really enjoyed the lemon & garlic butter sauce which pairs really well with the lobster. We used it as a dipping sauce for the fries, which otherwise would have been bland.
Compared to the lobster roll, the grilled lobster is more pricey and for less meat (and more effort to extract the meat!). Will recommend to try the grilled lobster once and thereafter stick to the lobster roll š
Chanced upon this stall in a coffeeshop and Iām so glad that my friend and I tried! El Carbonās menu looks similar to Collinsā but their prices are more affordable. I had the Charbroiled Chicken Chop ($7.90) and I have nothing to complain about. Serving is huge and all the components are tasty. My friend recommends his Grilled Norwegian Salmon ($11) as the fish is fresh and nicely cooked. Finding this place is a nice surprise and I will love to be back to try the other dishes!
Shi Xiang Ge is famous for the knife shaved noodles, but their dumplings are great too. The pork dumplings ($5 for 8 pieces) and poached dumplings in chilli oil ($5 for 10 pieces) are must-haves in every visit. I enjoy how plump the pork dumplings are and that they can be tasty without any sauce. The other type has cabbage in it and the chilli oil gives it a good kick. As it gets really crowded even on weekday nights, do come before 6pm to avoid the long queues!
Th coffeshop is located in a quiet neighbourhood in AMK and thereās not many diners around, however this stall apparently can get busy with online orders! Thereās a promotion of army stew with cheese (refillable soup) + 4 pieces of Korean fried chicken at $27.90. The best part of this set is actually the fried chicken - it tasted on par or if not better than the other big Korean brandsā šš»
The army stew and cheese were disappointing. We donāt quite get how to coat our food with the cheese as it was not molten nor melting nicely. The army stew was very spicy and thereās not many ingredients included. Iām not too picky on this since the price is reasonable, but will expect more if thereās no promotion.
Burpple beyond deal of buy-3-free-3 slices is pretty worth it for a small house party! My personal favourites are Madam Roselleš¹ ($6.90), Maneki Nekoš ($7.90) and Once in the Blue Moonš« ($5.90).
Donāt recommend Jiggly Puffš§ ($6.90) - My friends and I found it too cheesy and āoverkillā as it has 3 layers of cheese. Maybe a super cheesecake lover will appreciate this more than the average cheesecake eater š¤£
Ordered a medium flat white (menu price @ $6.50) using ShopBack voucher ($5.50). Thought it will be a good opportunity to try Spinelliās coffee after walking past it so many times. The coffee that day was flat, watery and too milky. Though thereās a weak aroma, I could hardly taste the coffee. At this price point, thereās definitely better options in CBD. This is my first coffee at Spinelli and will be my last.
