One of the most creative cafés ever been to! 🍌 It's a 🌻 flower pot pudding ~ coffee flavour☕️ ~ in other words.. a cute flower tiramisu 🍰 and a mason-jared iced tea 🍹 ( had higher expectations on the drink ) It's BANANA TREE 🍌🌲: super colourful decoration with a young/trendy-looking people all eating from flower pots with spades 🍴🚫! 😂😍
Soybean flour flavored Patbingsoo so I can trick myself into thinking I'm eating something healthy. It's $12.90 for the big bowl and $4.90 for the one person's serving. But I figure go big or go home, besides the bigger bowl comes with a small jug of milk you can drizzle over. The mochi bits add a wonderful chewy texture and the ice is like fine milky snow. Definitely not glorified ice kachang!
But sadly it doesn't impress anyone of us. The waffle texture is way too dry and is lacking the crispiness on the outer, which is so different from the first time I had their waffles few months back. The salted egg sauce seems very GAO but the texture is sooooo rough. Not the typical kind of smooth creamy buttery salted egg sauce. It just isn't up to expectation.
Life is short, do treasure every moment with your family while you can. :)

This Hum Bao Bao ($23.90) is made of homemade premium double beef patty (infused with wagyu fats), bacon, cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and served on brioche bun with fries. I love the presentation, especially on how the fries is served on an oil strainer haha. The beef patty was thick, but for me it's too dry and lacked of seasoning. If you come with a super hungry stomach, this is the thing that can satisfy yourself.
We settled for Truffled Toast ($14) and Scrambled Eggs ($13, add $4 for Salmon). The toast has strong truffle taste and runny egg that burst out when you cut into it whereas the scrambled egg is pretty big that we regret ordering two portion. Note that they will be closing for renovation from 8 Aug 2015 6pm and will only reopen in Sep.
At a quiant arty Halal café with whimsical decor (french fantasy themed/fairytale-like or some would say as if a Candy Crush bomb had exploded in it) for a mini bday lunch celebration, suited for a nice afternoon chillout with my ladies. This café offers an all day breakfast with various of dishes and is definitely a must visit for coffee lovers especially. Trust me, they have all kinds! *Recommended: Halloumi cheese burger.
Not many places serve angel hair pasta, so this bowl of nicely tossed pasta with Sakura Ebi, bonito flakes and shio kombu wins my heart over 😍 It's really light, not oily and yet so flavourful! My only criticism is that the pasta was cooked al dente. Perfect for many others out there but I like mine a lil' soft.
I loved the combination of the different flavours in this dish.. Umami bomb!
