BBQ Seoul Shokudo is a Korean Style BBQ dining place that sells a variety of Beef and Chicken!
Got the Chicken Breast Set, which was one of the cheaper item on their extensive menu! $8.90++ for a set, which includes free flow sides like kimchi and corn and radish!
Other than grilling, they also have other non-BBQ items like stews, ramen and rice dishes that is able to satisfy your Korean food cravings!
Good news for EASTIES... because @ahothideout has opened their 3rd and LARGEST outlet at Kinex Mall (near paya lebar MRT)!
They serve one of the best mala in Singapore! I travelled all the way to NTU to have it last year! 😍
What is so special about their malaxiangguo here is that they fry their ingredients!! The top ingredients that you HAVE to add for your malaxiangguo is the potato, lotus root, dory fish, and scrambled egg!! The potato and lotus root are sliced till super thin, almost like chips!! The scrambled egg you will need to remember to add on the order when ordering from the self-ordering kiosk! Another thing that I like about this place is that all the ingredients are charged at the same price! You need not worry about taking more/less meat vs veg, just choose what you love! For non-mala eaters, you can also pick the oriental stir fry option!
Besides malaxiangguo, they also have the soupy version here! Choose from mala collagen soup, collagen soup, or tomato collagen soup! Featured here is the tomato collagen soup!
Top favourite items for me is the potato and lotus root slices, as well as the scrambled egg!
Get the peanut and coriander from the counter to add on to your malaxiangguo to make it more fragrant!

My favourite tang yuan stall in Singapore - Ah Balling Tangyuan! They also have a stall at One Punggol Hawker Centre!
I love that the tangyuan flavours can be picked ball by ball! Got 2 yam, 2 peanut and 1 matcha tangyuan with peanut ball soup!

Love their silky smooth chee cheong fan with spicy heebeehiam chilli! Opted for the char siew chee cheong fan ($4) today!

💫 La Mian With Pork and Pork Wanton in Signature Pork Bone Soup ($14.3++): Comforting soup broth!
💫La Mian with Pork Dumpling in Hot Chilli Vinaigrette ($12.80++): This was super super malaaaaaa numbing spicy!! Too numbing spicy for me to enjoy this dish!
💫 Radish Pastry ($8.30++): This is my number 1 favourite dimsum snack to get here!!
Was at CT Hub and decided to grab some croissants from @brotherbird_bakehouse ! No queue!
Got the Taro Croissant and Honey Sea Salt Croissant!

The new outlet has a super zen vibe, with dine-in seats available too!
Mr Onigiri, as the name suggests, specialises in onigiris with local flavours! The onigiris are all made in house and loaded with very generous ingredients!

If you are looking for affordable Unagi don in Singapore, @unatoto_sg is the place to check out!
Unatoto specialises in in charcoal-grilled unagi don! They promise reasonable, fast and tasty unagi rice bowls!
Featured here is the Unajyu Deluxe ($22++)! Super shiok meal with a huge and thick slice of unagi on top of fluffy Japanese white rice! We also tried their Unadon Double ($14.50++), which is the number 1 Signature item! Get double pieces of unagi for this!
You can also add on $4++ for Value Set A (Soup + Side dish) or $5++ for Value Set B (Mini Soba/Udon + Side dish)! We picked the Set A and got their Unagi Liver Soup, Red Miso Soup, Onsen Egg and Chilled Tofu!
For appetisers, we got the Unagi Chawanmushi ($6++) and assorted tempura ($11++)! The chawanmushi was super smooth and has lots of ingredients in it like unagi, mushroom, fishcake and prawn! The assorted tempura is highly recommended! There is tempura unagi, prawn and mushroom! It was our first time trying tempura unagi and we super loved it!

You can also visit this place just for the food!
We got the chunky chicken croissant and sourdough toast, which comes with creamy mashed potato. Very delicious! We also got an iced taro latte and tropical iced tea (mango and peach) for the hot weather!
