Second Time at Wing Seong Fatty's Restaurant! (and my other Mother's Day Celebration over the weekend!)

This time round we tried to order different items to try more variety!
-Pork Spare Ribs (M) [$25++]
-Chicken in Claypot (S) [S$15++]
-Fried Egg with Minced Meat [$9++]
-Braised Beancurd (S) [$15++]
-Cereal Prawns (S) [$22++]
-Fried Rice with Seafood (M) [$11++]
-Hor Fun with Seafood (M) [$11++]
-Sambal Kang Kong (S) [$10++]
-Lime Juice [$2.50++]

The first time when we dined here the food was kinda salty? But it might be because of the items we ordered (e.g. salted egg prawns). This time round, the saltyness level was alright and with have no issues with it. The only thing was that the Cereal Prawns was quite a letdown! There were only 5 prawns for the small portion! But we we warned by the service staff when ordering. But I did not really like the cereal oatmeal! They added coconut to the oatmeal, instead of the usual sugar and chilli padi spices, so something was missing! The cereal oatmeal was not as addictive as I expected.

But overall, still a good place to visit for reunion meals! The bill amounted to about $140 for 6 pax. Be sure to call ahead to make your reservations, especially if you want the indoor aircon seats! Baby chairs are provided here too!

We got the following food items:
-Scallion Oil Shrimp Noodle ($7.90+): There was pretty much no sauce for this? It was just scallion oil. Need to add your own concoction of spices to make it spicy and more palatable
-Tomato Chicken Cutlet Noodle ($11.90+): This was like a thicker version of Hai Di Lao's famous tomato broth soup with chicken cutlet! The chicken cutlet was soggy though.

We actually wanted to try the picked vegetable chicken cutlet noodle, but it was already sold out by the time we visited on a friday evening at 630+pm

The prices are quite reasonable and wallet friendly, especially for students!

Do not forget to claim your free ice cream (when you return the tray) too!

Finally trying out the legendary Lorong 9 Famous Beef Kway Teow food!

I have actually been wanting to try this for the longest time (urm 20 years? LOL)! But I was not sure earlier if they had non-beef hor fan! Since most of google map photos then (super many years ago) mainly featured their beef hor fan only!

But yes, there is NON BEEF OPTIONS! You can get the black bean sauce hor fan in sliced fish or seafood option too! All for $8 per plate!

The black bean sauce has alot of spicy red chilli padi too, so it was quite spicy! But 10/10 shiok! Will recommend all to try out this tze char stall!

They also have dried kway teow version! Will be back to try this next time!

Tried the matcha millefeuille pancakes 3 years ago and didnt fancy them. This time round, I decided to try the Mango Pancake (4 pcs for $16.40). Top up $1 for vanilla ice cream.

I much prefer this non-matcha pancake version! The pancake was light and fluffy, with fresh mango chunks and some almond flakes in between the layers! Belle-Ville's pancakes are known to be only 80% cooked, so it is much more eggy and fluffy! It is almost like a souffle pancake!

Slightly regretted getting the 4 piece portion, because it was too much to finish for 1 pax. So if you are dining alone, get the 2 piece portion instead (I was initially afraid that the 2 piece portion would not be enough, but it actually was sufficient haha)!
