These BBQ meat dishes are best paired with side dishes like mozzarella squares, pineapple and king oyster mushroom!

🌟Tabletop Korean BBQ - Meat Lover Set ($138) which comprising of these items:
💫USDA-Prime, Rib-Eye Steak

The bbq meats were super juicy! Marinated pork ribs was my favourite! Shabu shabu soup was very much welcomed to cleanse the palate! Grilled pineapples were surprising good! Seafood pancake with the accompany spicy sauce dip was so good!
Check this place out if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or hold any corporate meals! They have private rooms available for bookings too!
Nestcha specialises in beverages that have birdnest, peach gum, and hand pounded honey lemon tea! They also have freshly made cake box for dessert as well! If you are a mochi fan, this is the place to come as well!
Featured here are the following items:
Mango Pomelo Bird's Nest ($12.90): Super tasty drink! This is not your usual mango pomelo sago, as other than the usual ingredients, it comes topped with birdnest as well as pudding! Lots to eat in every mouthful!
Orange Camellia Tea ($5.90): If you prefer something lighter, check out their ROCK THE HONEY LEMON TEA series! The drinks under this series are hand pounded, which really brings out the taste! Thirst quenching and super refreshing!
💜Yam Chicken Floss Mochi Cake ($9.90): I super love this! It was presented in a very bright purple colour! The cake layers were soft and moist. In the middle of the cake layers is savoury chicken floss with crispy crunchy seaweed! For the top layer, it is covered in taro orh nee and a qq chewy mochi! I enjoyed this so much!
Sea Salt Soya Mochi Cake ($9.90): This is similar to the yam chicken floss mochi cake, but instead of being taro yam themed, it is a salty sweet combination!

Toasts from @coffeebreakamoy !
I have been wanting to try their toasts for some time already!
Got the black sesame and taro creme ($3.50 each) to try!
Between the two, I actually preferred the black sesame! For the sole reason that I did not expect that the taro creme one to be more like BUTTER CREAM? And I do not really fancy the creamy butter cream! I was expecting taro orh nee texture? LOL! I was also surprised that the Taro Creme came with a slab of butter as well!
For the two toasts we got, their crispiness varied, so it seemed like the toasting of bread slices isnt very consistent. The Taro Creme one was crispier than the black sesame toast!
They have other flavours like peanut butter, hazelnut cocoa, ciannmon sugar, earl grey creme and raspberry almond creme (all at $3.50 each). Otherwise, there is also the classic flavour of kaya butter, butter sugar and butter only (at $3 each).
Tip: Come with a friend, order the two toasts separately, using shopback, and you can get 10% shopback credits confirmed straight away when you make your second order :)
Have a colourful cheerful start to a new work week!
I tried out the new chrysanthemum aiyu jelly bowl ($3.60) but it was not really to my liking as i didnt like having chrysanthemum flower petals all over in the dessert bowl. The chrysanthemum jelly was also less sweet, more bitter than the normal aiyu jelly.
Gona stick to my favourite aww in one cup from now on!
The bowl featured behind is the free grass jelly bowl we got (worth $2.80) for making 5 purchases using their loyalty card stamp!
Back to Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang at Novena United Square food court for a second time!
This time, I was determined to try the Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang ($6.90)! Arrived early slightly before the lunch hour crowd to order. However, the wait for the food was still quite long at almost 20 minutes! So if you wish to eat this, better head here early!
Like the previous nasi lemak chicken wing set, the nasi lemak rice was served pipping hot and super fragrant! I was initially afraid that the Taliwang sauce will be too spicy (since it was 3 chilli spice level), but it turned out to be pretty mild to me . The chilli resembles the sambal chilli, that is citrusy and spicy! My favourite kind of chilli! Making a mental note to try to request for more chilli next time!
As for the chicken leg, it was tender and soft, however I felt that the chicken leg portion was quite small? Like I felt that I had to ration the meat to eat with the rice, if not I would not have much meat to last for the whole meal! As for the ikan bilis and peanuts, the ikan bilis seemed to be OVERLY FRIED this time round. Super dark brown in colour and hard, hence I didnt eat more than 2 pieces of it!
@momotaru.sg specialises in coconut and avocado shakes!
They use fresh Thai young coconuts and avocados here! They offer a very wide range of drink shakes choices!
Featured here are the following items:
-Avocado Coconut Shake ($6.50 for L:): My favourite avocado + coconut combination! Rich and creamy tasty drink!
-Gula Melaka Coconut shake ($6.50 for L): This is part of the Nonya Delights new flavour series! Sweet gula melaka with cruncy coconut bits!
-New Coconut Punch Series (Mango Coconut Punch; $4.90): Woah I enjoyed this drink sooo much! The mango jelly layer was very soft and smooth! Punch the jelly with the straw to see a pretty mix of yellow and white colours! There is chewy konnyaku jelly in the jelly layer as well! Totally LOVE this!
-Coconut Pudding ($4.2 for L): The pudding is made of two distinctive layers. The bottom later is made with 100% pure coconut water! Very refreshing dessert!

If you are finding any halal food spots for large group gathering, check out Streats at City Square Mall!
Their food here is affordably priced and they have an extensive menu range of food items ranging from dim sum kind of small bites, to western pasta, to fusion pastas, to asian delights like hor fun and nasi lemak! There is something for everyone! Even their drink list is super long!
What I ordered was this XO CREAM SAUCE PASTA WITH BUTTERFLY PRAWNS ($15.80++)! First thing first, I like how the prawn is cut butterfly style with a satay stick in it too to make for easy and convenient cutting! No excuses not to order prawn dishes when dining out!
The XO cream sauce however was not the XO kind of taste I expected, though there were visible bits of XO scallop seen in the pasta sauce. This creamy pasta sauce reminded me more of an asian fusion laksa sauce!
The pasta came with lots of shimeiji mushrooms too, my favourite.
Overall, quite a decent meal, and food portions were quite substantial!
