If you have been wanting to try out Beans Factory, they have now opened their FIRST Singapore outlet at 100AM mall at Tanjong Pagar area!

@beansfactory.singapore is a well-known dessert brand from Malaysia! I had wanted to check out their Mount Austin Outlet during my previous Johor Bahru trip actually, but didnt have time to squeeze it in to my itinerary! So happy to know that they are now in Singapore!

Featured here are the following dessert items:
-Taro Family Tau Fu Fah ($8.90): This bowl comes with mini taro balls, taro balls and taro paste too! This is a must get for all taro lovers! Their signature is the TAU FU FAH which is freshly made everyday. Their tau fu fah reminds me of soy pudding! Very smooth and silky, quite different from tauhuey texture! Add the sugar syrup based on your choice of sweetness! The taro balls were also chewy good!

-Honey Lemon Aiyu with Mango and Taro ball ($8.90): If you are craving something sweet and sour instead, check out their Honey Lemon Aiyu Series! The aiyu jelly was smooth and large portions of mangoes were given! This has chewy nata de coco too!

There is a wide variety of menu item choices here! You can also customise your own bowl under the Mix and Match menu category! You can pick the base, topping and sugar base!

Their serving portion here is HUGE, so come with more friends to share more dessert bowls together!

⁣🚨DEAL ALERT: They are having an ongoing CNY promo from now till 5 Feb 2023! Spend min $18 to get 10% off your total bill!

Check them out at 100 AM Mall #01-13A now!

Desserts at @overscoopsg !

Here at Over scoop, they over-deliver with every scoop! Over scoop refers to the complimentary mini scoop over on top! The idea of Overscoop came about for them during the Covid-19 pandemic when food sampling was not allowed. This over scoop allowed customers to try and sample a different flavour of choice!

They serve waffle, croffles and gelato here! They have a wide extensive range of flavours!

Featured here are the following items:
💖CNY special Nian Gao Waffle with Wild Strawberries and Roasted Pistachio: The waffles were crispy on the outside and moist on the interior. It remained crispy for a long time even when the gelato had melted! I love the addition of the sweet sticky and chewy nian gao! Super innovative flavours! Their other waffle flavours are original / pandan coconut / dark cocoa! Loved the fruity flavour gelato too!

💖Croffles with Taro Yam and Tropical Mango: Croffles = croissant + waffle. The croffle was like a dense croissant in waffle shape with crispy flaky outer layers.

Featured are the following food items:
🌟Mentai Mayo Tamago Sushi ($2.50): Egg with spicy cod roe mayo. This is my top favourite sushi!
🌟Mentai Mayo-Go ($3.80): You get a mentai mayo salmon, prawn and crab stick. My second favourite item!
⭐️Kaisen Mini Cone Sushi ($3.80): Ordered this because it was sooo special and unique! Ice cream cone topped with ice, salmon, avocado, crab salad, corn, sakura ebi and flying fish roe!
⭐️Jumbo Ebi Roll ($5.80): Breaded jumbo prawn, shrimp roe, spicy sauce and lettuce
💫Unagi Shitake Gunkan ($2.50): Unagi, mushroom, teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds
💫Aburi Shoyu Butter Salmon Sushi ($2.80): Salmon, Teriyaki Sauce, utter

Quality sushi at affordable pricing!

Check them out the next time you crave sushI! A good alternative to Genki too if you love mentai mayo sushi like me!

New Korean Bingsu place at Bugis! @nunsaram_cafe has opened a new outlet right at Bugis Junction!

Had always wanted to try Injeolmi Bingsu ($14.90 for the Large sized portion) so we tried it this time round! The Large Sized portion was more than enough for 3 adults who were not super duper hungry!

The bingsu ice shavings were super powdery! It was topped with soybean powder and ther was even chewy mochi on the the inside of the bingsu!

Nice environment here too, not squeezy!

Many other flavours to try like Mango, Strawberry, Green Tea, and many more! They also serve savoury food here too!

Here is what we tried:
-Kouign Amann ($5): This was crafted in a different swirl shape that we are more used to! Instead, this was circular denser shape kouign amann. First impression, it was quite hardddd (because of the thick layer of caramelized sugar) and sticky to cut!

-Almond Croissant ($5.50): This was better than the kouign amann (when usually I prefer kouign amann to almond croissant). The croissant had a crispy flaky outer layer with thick portions of almond in the interior.

The staff did not offer the option to reheat our bakes, so the pastries were served to us at room temperature.

If you are intending to head here to utilise the burpple beyond 1 for 1, do note that it is only available for selected pastries like the above, as well as croissant, pain au chocolat, ham and cheese croissant.

Tried it out of curiosity as saw so many people recommending it on tiktok and IG! One packet of the drink costs $1.80! And it now comes in this new pouch packaging since mid jan 2023! To save some money, i bought it to bring home to refrigerate and to drink with my own cup of ice cubes!

Pretty blue hue lemonade! 💙Other than that, it tasted slightly too sweet for me. Took me a long while to finish the cup!

Finally checking out @jiayueneatinghse ! Have bookmarked this place for a few years now but always lazy to head to joochiat road area to have this! They have now moved to tanjong pagar mrt level b1 area! Much more convenient and more accessible to more people now!

We visited this place on a friday evening at almost 7pm timing, and the place was quiet with less than 5 ppl dining in. But i reckon that the crowd and queue will be larger during weekday lunch time hour since prices are quire affordable!

Ordered the creamy salted egg chicken rice ($8) which comes with an egg. I like that the egg was runny! There was quite a substantial portion of chicken meat given! The creamy salted egg sauce was also 👍🏻! I slurped up every bit of it! The chicken also seems to be fried prawn paste marinate chicken before it is coated with the creamy salted egg sauce!

Dim Sum feast over the CNY PH at @timhowan_sg !

Ordered the following items:
-Baked BBQ Pork Bun ($8++ for 3 pieces): This is a MUST order! Never get sick of it!
-BBQ pork Rice rolls ($7++): Super silky smooth! I love this!
-Shredded Chicken Spring Roll ($6++): Ordered this to try as pretty special. But hmm, I dont think it is something I will want to order again unless there is no other fried dim sum item I crave
-Pan Fried Radish Cake ($6++): I belong to the group which prefers even more fried carrot cake than just pan fried
-Chicken Cordycep Flower Rice ($8++): This is one of my top favourite item to get too if I want to get something full! Always request for MORE sauce! love the tender soft chicken meat!
-Hong Kong Style Egg Tart ($5.30++ for 2 pieces): Cookie crust egg tarts!
-Pork Congee with century egg ($8++): Pretty normal. Not something that I will want to order again. I am also not those who will want to order congee when eating dim sum
-Pork dumplings in Hot and Spicy sauce with Noodles ($10.30++): This is a NOPE for me! Didnt really like the hot and sour sauce. Too soury! Rather just get the hong you chao shou without noodles

Walked by @kazosingapore and noticed that that they sell tarts! Hence bought some to celebrate family’s birthday! 🥳🎂

- taro orh nee tart
- lemon meringue tart
- chocolate hazelnut tart

1 for $3.60, 3 tarts for $10.50. Can mix and match the tarts!

Indulgent yongtaufoo here as it is fried and then mixed in a braised minced meat sauce.

Minimum 6 pieces required for each order ($0.80 per piece). They were also other “premium” ingredients at varying prices such as fishcake ($1.20), tofu with fish and chicken paste ($1.40), Cheese hot dog ($2.20) and prawn ngor hiang roll ($2.20). The noodle with meat gravy is sold at a separate price of $2.20 for a small bowl.

All in, our order was $20.10! However, if you stick to the basic items, the meal will just cost $0.80 x 6 = $4.80 + $2.20 = $7

There are a few outlets in Singapore, we visited the one at Siglap. Was not crowded on a sunday late morning.

Sweet and savoury bombolonis, they have it all! These are donuts that are rolled in sugar and stuffed with various types of pastry cream!

@bakersbrewstudio has recently launched FOUR NEW FLAVOURS!
- Mala w chicken floss: This was filled with mala custard and with savoury chicken floss on the coating! This combination turned out to be surprisingly good! Love the spicy custard!
-Singapore Chili Crab: The Singapore’s favourite crab flavour! Stuffed with chilli crab sauce!
- Black sesame peanut: What is even better than black sesame or peanut butter? Black Sesame + Peanut all in one! Woah, super unique flavour, and it was so good together! Creamy, rich and nutty! It really does keeps one coming back for more!
- Blueberry lime: This was filled with real blueberries! Fresh fruity flavour with some zesty lime taste to balance it all out! For sweet tooths!

I also tried two of their OG flavours:
-Taro Orh Nee: What is not to love! Local twist to the donut! Love the smooth taro paste! Taro lovers, you NEED to get this!
-Strawberry Rose Cremeux: Sweet and sour! This had a very fragrant taste too!
⁣⁣
All flavours were so unique, and so well done!

These donuts are sold exclusively at the Causeway Point outlet. You can get them as a single, or in boxes of 3 ($13) or 6 ($26).

Check them out at 1 Woodlands Square B1-K01 S(738099)

SMOOY Yoghurt!

This place has been on Burpple Beyond 1 for 1 list for the longest time! But I am only finally trying it now after so long!

Was hoping that they had other season flavours besides the original flavour, but the other season flavour on sale during my visit was chocolate, which I did not like ohwell.

We got the classic cup ($5.90) which comes with choice of 2 toppings. Similar to Llao Llao and Yole, sauce is considered one topping. I was quite surprised that there were no fresh fruits here available during our visit, but it could also be because it was after dinner time. Come early if you want fresh fruit!

Opted for my favourite white chocolate + coconut sauce (it is called Chioco Coco here)! But I found it to be overly sweet? It was the first time that I finished the yoghurt but still have so much sauce left!
