The sandwich is quite big portion due to the thick sourdough bread. It was good but would be nicer if the bread was sliced slightly thinner.

This was recommended by one of the servers.
An interesting combination of sour and sweet. The sweetness of the muscovado sugar is very mild so you wouldn’t taste a strong taste of sweetness.

Don’t fancy coffee? Try their chocolate. This reminds me of the ice chocolate by Cocodash. Not overly chocolatey.

Smooth, not too acidic. Good balance between coffee and milk.
You can opt for either 6oz (RM10) or 8oz (RM11).
Good, thick and rich. Great balance of milk and coffee. Perfect marriage with their orange dessert.

Another best seller.
The filling is made of chucks of orange. It reminded me of Sunkist orange! Not overly sweet, which is very good.

It resembles a lemon so much, hard to believe it isn’t one!
This is one of their best sellers. I chose this because I love sour fruits. The “skin” is made of thin white chocolate. Beneath the “skin” is the namelaka, very soft and light. And in the middle, you get chunks of actual lemon skin with bits of mint.
It was more sour than I expected but good after a heavy lunch. I actually love it!

Sandwich with bolognese? Why not?
It consist of spiced pork and tomato stew, grilled onions, mozzarella cheese and hash brown with a side of rocket.
The bolognese was a little oily other than that, it was ok. This is quite a big portion so good for brunch.

My first comment about this place is the duration it took for our food to arrive. The restaurant wasn’t packed and we waited around 30-40 minutes for our food.
This restaurant is heavy on dishes with pork. Since I don’t eat pork, not many choices available.
I went for the Perfect Omelette, which is an omelette with smoked salmon, baby spinach, dill cream cheese and toasted almonds with a side of rocket. The dish doesn’t come with any bread. I find the salmon a bit too salty. Would be better to pair it with bread.

Smooth latte with a subtle taste of honey. I call it a healthier version of the usual latte.

This tom yam comes in a claypot. You can have it either with chicken/seafood and rice/bread.
I opt for seafood and bread. The portion was smaller than I expected but there was quite a bit of seafood with 4 mussels. The tom yam is flavourful and spicy. If you want a light meal, this would be one of it.
This is RM16.50.
Dotty’s isn’t exactly famous for their coffee.
The coffee was just okay. Nothing extraordinary.
