The first thing that hit me when I entered this shop, the smell of cakes! Love it!
The banana pecan cake is one of their best sellers. The cake was moist and loose. The cake and the raisins are not overly sweet. The cake is well balanced in flavour. Love it!
This is RM11.
It was pretty close to the gelato in Italy. As rich. Not overly sweet.
Single flavour is RM15, double flavour is RM16.
Japanese curry udon with creamy potato on top.
The creamy potato was really creamy, fluffy and light. A better version of mash potatoes? Haha. But love love love! The curry was fragrant. There are some mince meat in the curry.
This is RM19.90.
Big fan of paneer. Love this grilled paneer cubes with grilled capsicum and tomatoes. It comes with 1 naan. So don’t order more bread unless 1 naan is insufficient.
This is RM18.
A nice change from the usual gin & tonic. Personally, I tasted the coconut more than the gin. Big glass for the price.
This is RM25.
This place offers with 4 preset bowls and the usual customize your own bowl option. For customize version, you can choose between Usual Bowl (which comes with 1 protein) or Upsize Bowl (which comes with 2 proteins).
I opt to customize because I wasn’t feeling the preset options. I chose the Usual Bowl.
This bowl has cauliflower rice, chicken breast, salsa corn, crispy chickpeas, eggplant and red & green bell pepper. For dressing, I chose the chilli oil that everyone recommended and also because I love spicy food.
It was delicious and filling at the right level. The chilli oil was as spicy as mentioned. No let down there. Prefer if they removed the chilli seeds though.
This is RM16.90. I paid extra RM3 for the cauliflower rice.
Another hot rice bowl outlet. The difference with this one? It’s menu is very much Asian. You can either choose from their signature combos or build your own.
I opted to build my own with The Ordinary, which is the medium sized bowl. This size comes with 1 base, 3 mains, 3 toppings and 1 sauce.
The dishes were very fragrant, which prompted my colleagues to ask what I had. Taste wise, it didn’t disappoint.
This is RM18.
One of the problems for me at poke bowl joints is I don’t eat raw tuna or salmon. So am always happy to find chicken or vege options in the menu.
This bowl comes with grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, red onion, jalapeño, corn flakes with teriyaki andnchili garlic aioli. You can also opt to have it as a sushi salad, sushi burrito (+RM1) or pineapple poke bowl (+RM2).
The ingredients for this bowl goes very well together. The spiciness comes from the jalapeño. Love!
This is RM16.90.
The name of the dessert wasn’t the reason I ordered it. Ok...maybe a teeny bit.
The combination of pandan roti jala, sweet kaya toast flavoured ice-cream and gula melaka sauce with salty melted cheese was intriguing. It was topped with slices of strawberry and almonds.
It wasn’t as sweet as I expected, probably due to the non-sweet roti jala and melted cheese. Altogether it was delicious.
I wish they made the roti jala in little rolls like how it usually is. This came in one thick piece and I had to cut it with a knife. And also, maybe a heavier pandan smell. I didn’t smell nor tasted the pandan much.
This is RM20. Best to share.
This place serves kebab, burrito and daily bowl that you can build.
I chose to have the burrito bowl, which means burrito without the wrap. Easier to eat as the wrapped burrito is quite big.
I love the options available. Not as many options as Subway. Love their habanero sauce which was really spicy!
This is RM12.50. I paid additional RM3 for cheese.
This is a daily special.
It came with peri peri sauce, mango salsa, mixed organic rice and a side of salad.
It’s hearty. The chicken, rice and sauce goes very well.
This is RM29.
Oh joy to find a vegan version of a typically beef dish!
The chili con carne is made which chickpeas, black beans and tomatoes. You can choose whether to have mixed organic rice or cauli rice with it. I chose cauli rice.
It tastes great but not that filling. Maybe it would be if I chose the organic rice instead.
This is RM19.
