The briyani is aromatic and flavourful. The chicken was soft and tasty too.
The level of spiciness is just right, which is great. Recommend to try if youāre in the neighbourhood.
This is RM19.
There is a good mixture of seafood and vegetables. It came with squid, baby prawns, green pepper bell, carrots, onions, cauliflower and long beans.
Taste wise is average. I like that they donāt overcook the vegetables so its still crunchy.
This is RM9.90.
Lisetteās is famous for their lunch buffet and Sunday brunch buffet, which are vegetarian/vegan. As I wasnāt hungry, I opted for something else. Breakfast is always my fail-safe.
I decided to build my own breakfast and I chose eggs (poached) which comes with toast and chicken breakfast sausages. The poach eggs were a disappointment while the sausages are ok.
Iād probably have something else the next time Iām there.
Eggs are RM13 and he chicken sausages are RM10.
Iām not a fan of chicken but I do love buffalo chicken sauce.
The chicken are chicken tenders. The tacos are fully stuffed with cilantro (coriander), tomatoes, onions, and purple cabbage. It comes with a side of fries.
This is RM25.90.
I got to say that this is my favourite place to eat at Publika.
You can choose you base between mixed lettuce, white rice, brown rice or quinoa. Thereāll be extra charges for quinoa. Then choose 1 protein, 3 ingredients, 1 dressing and toppings (as many as you want). You can add more protein and there will be additional charges for that.
My favourite dressing is sriracha mayo. Super spicy!
You can add half a togarashi egg for RM1.
This is RM15.
First time trying this brunch item.
It comes with soft shell crab, chipotle mayo, pickled cucumber, chicken chorizo crumbs, sunny side up and coriander.
I loved it! This is one dish best eaten when its hot. When its cold, feels a little soggy.
This is RM26.
This is one of their signature dishes.
It comes with grilled lemongrass chicken thigh, egg, quinoa, tomatoes, Japanese cucumber, romaine lettuce with virgin coconut oil in tortilla wrap. Its served with a side of ikan bilis and nuts with homemade sambal.
Maybe I prefer the usual way of mixing sambal into my nasi lemak. Not really a hit for me. I also prefer the sambal to be spicy. In this case, more sweet than spicy. So it depends on your preference.
The portion was ok for me though I was stuffed after having it. Some people might find it too much, so best to share unless you have a big appetite like me.
This is RM21.90.
Another dish that isnāt available everywhere. Iāve only tried the one at Rubberduck, which isnāt as tasty as this one.
The fried rice quinoa here comes with quinoa (of course), sautƩed mushrooms, egg, fried shallots, spring onion, cabbage, coriander and red chilli. You can also add on chicken, grilled tofu or seasonal vegetables.
If you like fried rice quinoa, I highly recommend you to try it.
This is RM19.90.
Their Sarawak laksa consists of vermicelli, 3 tiger prawns, sliced omelette, shredded chicken breast, bean sprouts and coriander, served with laksa sambal.
The soup lacks āpunchā but the sambal was great.
This is RM27.
Came to check out the new La Juiceria outlet in Atria.
Since itās near to CNY, got to try their yee sang.
Their yee sang comes in 2 versions; vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The non-vegetarian comes with smoked salmon. If you opt for the vegetarian version, they will replace the smoked salmon with seasonal fruits.
Their yee sang comes with mandarin orange, grape, Japanese cucumber, sweet turnip, sesame seed, carrot, chukka wakame, cashew nuts and plum sauce. The plum sauce isnāt overly sweet which is great. In line with their healthy tagline for sure.
This yee sang comes in 2 sizes;
- small (2-5pax) for RM48
- large (6-10 pax) for RM68
You can order this when youāre dining in, take away or online.
Iām not a chicken rice fan but this stall sort of turned me into one. I have it almost every week.
The roasted chicken is delicious and fragrant. The owner roasts their own chicken at the back of the shop. This might sound odd but what I love the most is the chilli. Best Iāve tasted so far. šš The proportion of spiciness and sourish taste is perfect.
This is RM6.
I stumbled upon this coffee shop while searching for a restaurant.
I find this coffee shop very interesting as they offer 10 different flavoured beans, for now. The beans are imported from Australia. The flavours are infused into the coffee beans during roasting. So whatever flavour you choose, it is not enhanced with syrup. The brans are personally sourced by the owner.
Iāve tried the maple & walnut, butterscotch toffee and sea salt caramel mocha. 7 more flavours to go! My favourite at the moment is maple & walnut as you get a subtle hint of maple syrup, which is awesome since I love maple syrup.
All coffee comes in to-go cups, even if youāre having it there.
The hot coffee comes in 2 sizes; 8oz (RM 9.50) and 12oz (RM13). The iced coffee comes in 16oz (RM15). These are the prices of the white coffees.
Espresso only comes in 8oz (RM9) while Americano comes in 8oz (RM8), 12oz (RM11) and 16oz (iced-RM13).
They also offer chocolate and green tea latte.
