I chose this instead of the usual poké bowl because I like my food dunk in soup, especially rice.

For the base, there are 3 options; white rice, brown rice or soba. I wanted soba but it was not available, so I chose brown rice instead.

This bowl came with peppered chicken, onions, corn, cucumber and cherry tomatoes. The curry wasn’t that spicy. I like the mixture of ingredients in soup. Not a common thing.

This is RM15.90.

First time at The Fish Bowl outlet in 163 Retail Park.

For the base you can choose between white rice, brown rice or quinoa. This bowl consists of spicy tuna, cucumber, corn, walnut, pickled radish, pickled ginger, onion, seaweed flakes, wasabi and baby-racha sauce.

Indeed Spicy Tuna Bowl; pickled ginger, raw onion and wasabi are kicking ass hot. Overall balance and good blend of flavour and ingredients. Just wish for ingredients to be averagely cut into almost equal size and a deeper bowl for easy mixing. Portion is perfect.

This is RM20.90

The banana leaf here comes with 4 vegetables instead of the usual 3. The fish curry and dhal are awesome. The chicken varuval and mutton varuval (not pictures) are delicious as well. At the end of the meal, each patron is given a dessert.

The BLR is RM8.50, chicken varuval RM8.50 and mutton varuval RM9.

This is a Gujerati dish.

It is made with a fermented batter derived from rice and split chickpeas. Dhokla can be eaten for breakfast, as a main course, as a side dish, or as a snack.

The taste is rather unique. Its a little sour and a little sweet. There’s also the taste of spices. It took me some time to adjust as m brain was trying to determine whether it was a sweet or savoury.

Definitely something to try. I don’t know the price as J didn’t take the receipt after paying and it isn’t listed in their menu.

This dish is good when you’re not that hungry.

The flat bread is thin and slightly crispy. It comes with 3 dips; baba ganoush, hummus and tzatziki.

The hummus and baba ganoush are delicious. The tzatziki is refreshing.

This is RM16.

This is my first time back at Delicious after they’ve revamped their menu. Their menu is a lot better now.

The salmon was very fresh and sweet. Nicely baked. Portion is a tad small though. Its served with roasted potato wedges.

This is RM35.

I didn’t expect much and I was benchmarking it against Thien Chun Ipoh chicken hor fun.

The sweetness of prawn was very strong in the soup, which surprised me. The portion was ok. Overall, taste was pretty good. The price is a little steep but you pay for the ambience I guess.

This is RM13.50.

So how does it work here? They don’t have a menu for their meat items. You go to the counter and choose what you want. There are pork, beef and lamb in the form of sausages, bratwursts, ribs, etc.

So choose what you want and they’ll grill it for you. The meat dish doesn’t come with sides. If you want, you’ll need to order separately from the menu above the counter.

The price varies between the meat items.

The mashed potato was fluffy. The sauce was great. Same sauce as the one that comes with the grilled meat.

This is RM6.90.

In a place known for its pork, I chose a non-pork dish since I don’t eat pork.

As this place is always full, best to do reservation. The don’t have a menu per se but they do list non-meat items on a board above the counter. They have quite a selection of salad and pasta.

The aglio olio I ordered was al dente. Amount of olive oil is ok, not overwhelming. Good amount of mushrooms and dried chilli flakes.

This was RM18.50.

What I like most about the burger menu is that you can choose what patty you want to go with your burger. Unlike some where the burger is only served with beef or chicken patty. So you have a choice of beef, chicken or falafel. Since I’m a pescatarian, I chose the falafel.

Blue comes with creamy blue cheese (yummmm!!), caramelised onions and rocket leaves on fluffy soft pretzel bun. The patty was crispy on the outside and crumbly on the inside. It came with a side of fries.

Honestly, I expected a bigger burger but this size is just enough. If you have a bigger appetite, might not be enough.

This is RM33.

Honestly, I had a hard time looking for the outlet. It was hidden away in a corner. With the lot number, I expected to see it right next to Rakuzen, but nope.

Ordered the Figaro pizza to try as the topping was the most interesting. It came with goat’s cheese, mozzarella, fresh figs, honey, walnut, beef bacon and rocket leaves.

I find the goat’s cheese taste was a little overwhelming but my friend liked it. So it depends on your liking. The crust was nicely thin. Overall, I enjoyed it.

This is RM40. I think the price is a little on the high side considering the size.
