Sweet treat for the festive season... Manjari Dark Chocolate Mousse Log Cake with Apricot Spices and Chocolate Muffin Sponge.

The log cake looks simple, elegant and the best part is ... the whole cake is edible! It doesn't have plastic or sugar figurines which can be quite a hassle during portioning.

Not too sweet with a tangy taste of spices and mini chocolate balls within that gives it a good crunch.

Overall, happy with my purchase!

Japanese set lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Had a tough time deciding on what to order and decided on, Unajyu Sashimi Gozen, at $63++.

The grilled eel, fresh and soft, tender & moist when you sink your teeth into it. Salmon and Yellowtail Sashimi is fresh too. The simmered prawn is interesting. It's like prawn coated with egg. Vegetable was good, consist of different texture from soft to chewy to crunchy. Miso soup is flavourful with seaweed and cubes of toufu, neither too salty or bland. The whole meal is excellent!

It's weekday lunch and has good crowd too. Ambience is nice and cosy, it has private dining area, sushi counter and teppanyaki is available too. Service was prompt and staffs were friendly.
I like the short introduction made to my meal upon served. After I'm done with my meal, was served a fresh cup of tea. In most restaurant, they'll just top it up to the same cup.
It has its own garden which makes the overall ambience soothing and relaxing.

I'm awed by the overall experience at Keyaki. Will be back for more indulgence dining to fine Japanese food.

Power up with a flat white and a sausage, cheddar and egg wrap!

The coffee is good, aromatic. Pair it off with a wrap. The wrap was a little cold though they did warm it up. It could be warmer.
It will be a plus if it is freshly made upon order. But do understand its more of a grab and go item. Unless those dining in they make it fresh. Overall, i enjoyed it.

Likes its morning ambience here. Relaxing, not to be bothered by the people even when alone. Service was prompt. Staff were friendly. When i ordered for flat white, the cashier didn't heard it but the other staff heard it and immediately went to act on it before the order is input to the system. Upon seated, my coffee came. That's very nice.

A place to go on a weekend morning alone when I'm around the vicinity.

Assorted cheesecake from Cat and the Fiddle, alcoholic version. Best for gathering where you get to taste a bit of everything! Not too thick and creamy in texture. Comes in the following flavours...
1. Tangy Yuzu
2. Yuan Yang
3. Lychee Martini
4. Pina Colada
5. Oreo Cookies
6. Strawberry
7. Classic NY
8. Salted Caramel
9. Mango Vodka
10. Tiramisu
Can't taste the alcohol though but it is still good! The down side is, on the pricier scale.

A retro-vintage cafe along Rangoon Road. One of the unique table was a mini cooper. It serves all day brunch till 6pm. They've other main course, appetizers, beverage and desserts.

My Deluxe Spanish Omelette is good, consist of ham, capsicum, cheese, mushrooms and tomatoes. 1st time having baked omelette, it is fluffy and everything tasted good when put together. The portion is generous and worth the price. The toast is good too, but it's not on sale though they've selection loaves of bread for sale.

The service staff is attentive and still in all smiles despite running floor operation alone. Having to take order, serves, clears, top up water and up-selling. It was quite busy when the lunch time crowd was there too. Well done!

Will return again for the main course and appetizers.

Located amongst the car work shop, you'll notice its pure white shop front with full glass window. Spacious cafe, the tables are widely spaced so you'll have your own private space. Uncluttered and simple design.

Dropped in for a drink and takeaway 2 of the signature bao. Salted Egg Chicken and BBQ Pull Pork. Yums! There's other signatures which includes Pork Belly, Chili Crab, Salted Egg Shrimp and etc.

Would love to be back to try their rice bowl as one of it spells MENTAIKO!

Chanced upon it while walking along Keong Siak. Decided to go for it because of the lovely presentation of the bingsu. Apart from bingsu they do serve sandwich, cakes, pudding and assortment of beverages. They sells accessories too.

Had a mini pot bingsu which is not so mini. That is good for 2 to share. Loves the combination taste of the red bean, ice cream, nuts and shaved ice.

Interior design is bright with the see through roof top at the back of the cafe. Nice to sit back and relax too. Worth to return again.

New revamped menu though with less item for selection. Smoked salmon egg benedict comes with yuzu hollandaise sauce. Egg is done perfectly. It tasted good but can add more greens on the side to reduce the gelared feeling from hollandaise sauce & runny yolk. Coffee is good, it's just nice not overly rich or mild.

A convenient location right above the MRT station. Upon entering was greeted by the staff and seated toour table. The next moment another came to served ice water without having to request. Generally, the staffs are smiley, friendly and attentive to service. Cosy ambience, a nice bar design. Furnitures can be better well maintained, the cushioned chairs leather are peeling off which doesn't looks appealing.

Well, will still return for the desserts selections of waffles!

Never get sick with tacos! Had a classic baja fish taco. Tasted alright. Fish is fresh.
But... I still love the pork belly taco though.

Had the honey tequila chicken wing too! It was awesome! Didn't managed to snap a photo of it. Sweet, flavourful and juicy meat!

Will continue to visit there for other selection of tacos and nachos!

Walked passed the restaurant and decided to give it a try.
Ordered one of their signature noodle dish with a big piece of chicken thigh and 2 big shrimp dumplings. You get to select to have the special vermicelli (bee hoon) or hor fun.
The vermicelli length had been cut shorter for convenience eating. No chopstick is required for it.

The soup base is light, chicken and dumplings are flavorful, vermicelli is not the usual bee hoon. It is slightly thicker, indeed special. Overall, a good combination.

I want to be back again for its condensed milk toast and milk tea! Hope it will be as good as what i have had at Hong Kong.

First time trying oxtail stew. Ordered the Prince Signature Oxtail Stew. It was suppose to come with roasted potato but they were accommodating when we requested to change to rice. The oxtail was very soft and the sauce goes well with rice. Glad that we had changed to rice. Had their chicken chop with mushroom sauce, meat was tender and juicy too.

A simple coffee house which had consistent flow of dinner patrons after 6pm. Interior design is similar to the 70s 80s coffee house. Will be nice to try other dishes someday too.

A beautiful cup of flat white served. With the nice art on my cuppa, it made me feels happier.

A nice chill out place about 5 to 8 minutes walk away from Farrer Park station. Will be back for more. 😊
