Definitely on the pricier side of my ramen budget but really worth the try. Duck meat was soft and thin, love the soba noodles which soaked up the duck broth pretty good. Surprisingly good for a fusion twist.

Went to the taiseng outlet and they only have counter seats of maybe 10-15? Self ordering machine and waited for around 15 mins to be seated.

Shared this humongous plate with a colleague. Just look at that generous amount of chicken katsu. Original price was $6.90 But we added a dollar more for omelette.

Chicken was fried crispy and not oily, omelette was cooked just right. Only thing I would change is if we can choose the spice level of the curry. Not sure if that's possible but it'll be perfect 🀩

DIY poke bowl with quite a wide variety of toppings to choose from. So far I've tried their wasabi salmon and spicy salmon poke and they're both good πŸ˜‹ Definitely one of the healthier meal option if you're in the area.

We went ala carte but should've gone for buffet instead cause the price is there about. Basically the idea is for you to order a hot pot and throw your raw ala carte into the pot.

Hot pot was super oily and salty. Frog meat itself is fine. Service was incredibly slow. First thing they served us was raw meat without the hot pot or rice or any edible dish. Worth a visit if you're there at a non peak hour and feel like clogging your arteries.

Single scoop raspberry ice cream on chocolate chip lava cookie. Combination was alittle weird cause the raspberry is kind of acidic πŸ˜‚ Loved the bite of the cookie - chewy on the inside and crisp around the edges. πŸ‘πŸ» Not a fan of the cornflakes topping - it gets soggy fast and soggy cornflakes not in milk does not taste nice.

I loved everything in the bowl.
βœ”Sashimi cubes were fresh
βœ”Rice to sashimi ratio was good
βœ”Spiciness of the sauce was perfect. I personally loved it but my friend thought it was too spicy.

It was "back by popular demand" but I sure hope this is on their permanent menu. 😍

Tried their curry rice a few times and this time I decided to try something new - beef sukiyaki don.

Rice bowl includes an onsen egg, juicy beef slices, Japanese leeks, mushroom, tofu. Everything was surprisingly well balanced. Meat was juicy, leeks were crunchy but not too tough.

A very pleasant surprise and from my visits so far nana's has delivered consistent food quality. Can't wait to try other things on their menu! 😊

Damage: $4.70/scoop, +$1 for thyme cone.

Very interesting flavour choices but I went for the dark chocolate sorbet. Loved the deep dark chocolate flavour and the cone is so worth the dollar. I believe the cone is a popular item, they even sell packets of cone chips for $1.50! Definitely worth a visit if you're around the area. No seats there so be prepared to grab and go! πŸ˜‹πŸ¦

Chicken was juicy but small and skin crispy along the edges.

No idea what the sauce is but it's underwhelming and did not feel like it elevated the dish in any way to me. Sides were below average - sweet potato wedges were tough and not flavourful, broccoli is even sadder because there was only one.

If you're looking for affordable western food, I would recommend Astons over this any day.

Finally got to try this after so long! 🐟

Just look at the amount of sashimi on that bowl. Taste wise, salmon sashimi slices were fresh, spicy salmon sauce could be spicier and the tuna is my least favourite.

All in all its quite value for money though not the best salmon don I've had. If you're around the area, it's definitely worth shot but be prepared to queue! And also note that their last order is 2.15pm and they'll be closed till dinner time.
