Been nearly a year since my first visit and they have since extended their menu to include items such as this Charcoal Waffle. Waffle was ok, but the salted egg sauce felt rather odd as it carried a curry-like flavour at the start, but slowly more muruku-like later. Coming with the waffle was two scoops of ice-cream which I have had during my first visit, the unique Honey Scotch that came with sticky bits of honeycomb and the Affogato which is a combination of two favourites of mine; coffee and vanilla which were both as good as I remembered.

Warm pancake with cold ice cream ... And tiny hearts. (Yes they were hearts)

The chicken at this outlet tastes better.

A not-so-simple family dinner at the Zaffron Kitchen restaurant, which serves north and south Indian cuisine at a slightly upscale price as compared to other Indian restaurants. The Butter Naan ($4, Indian flatbread slathered with butter) and Aloo Gobi Masala ($12, spiced cauliflower and potatoes cooked in a rich creamy curry) was rather mediocre and expensive but what truly impressed me was the Butter Chicken ($16). Instead of the normal chicken pieces, chicken tikka was used, marinated with a yogurt and spice mixture and cooked in a butter flavoured gravy. This is one dish that you will keep dipping your naan into the gravy until the plate is wiped cleaned.
