Honey butter toast, cheese toast, injeolmi toast, sounds delicious right? Unfortunately, the bread here is quite subpar. Honey butter toast was slightly too sweet with the caramel and vanilla ice cream. The cheese used in the toast was the milky, processed kind which was quite unpleasant. The best for me would have been the injeolmi toast, boosting a layer of chewy rice cake and a heaping of fragrant injeolmi powder.

The premium meat platter pictured here consists of pork belly, pork collar, chicken thigh, squid, and prawn. The marinade is excellent, with plenty of lemongrass to give it a light finish. The exotic sauces also lends a different flavour to the grilled meat, so make sure to try them! The platter also comes with ladyfinger, shiitake mushroom, enoki mushroom and corn. Priced at $39.90. Get the lemonade ($3.90) which is homemade, quite unlike the normal lemonade outside but it's super refreshing! The grill is quite small so it will take some time to eat. My only gripe would be the low tables which makes it quite hard to eat.

Fish was too heavily battered with flour, but the coleslaw is pretty amazing. I love the chicken mushroom cheese quesadilla! The luncheon fries is pretty good too, with a killer mayo thai chilli sauce.

Imagine my surprise ploughing through the soft snow ice to find herbal grass jelly inside this glorious purple dessert! It's a tad artificial and sweet but the grass jelly saves it from being one big mess.

I didn't really care about the warm chocolate lava, cake, nor the orange infused vanilla ice cream once I tasted the divine almond nougatine. There's just something magical about caramel and almond that gets me going. Between the chocolate and matcha, I personally preferred the latter. Can't resist matcha!

The mango sorbet was light and fragrant, complementing the lemongrass foam perfectly. The sago I could do without.

The highlight was cracking open the chocolate shell and eating it together with spicy cherry sorbet! Pretty interesting dessert!

Pretty average Hokkien Mee, with large fresh prawns! Get the fried rice instead which was more fragrant. Skip the fried chicken which was bland and tough.

Good braised duck with a sweet and savoury dark sauce. Duck was well cooked and wasn't too tough nor chewy. Don't forget to get the herbal soup too! There seems to be a perpetual line here though.

Soft carrot cake with so much eggy goodness and a generous heap of cai po! You can also choose to add on prawns which will be chopped up and added to the carrot cake. I prefer the black version (which is only available in the morning), but I also cannot resist a good plate of white carrot cake!

The chicken collagen soup is delicious! I finished the soup down to the very last drop. The chicken meat was quite disappointing though, tasted a bit stale although it was tender. The prawns were very fresh! Quite expensive at $25++ per pax.

Large pot of army stew to be shared among 2-3 friends! The soup is a nice blend of spicy, sweet and sour, super comforting on a rainy day. Service here is good, the staff will help to cut the ingredients on the spot before cooking and add the ramyeon noodles. Free flow of sides, I liked the sliced hard boiled eggs best! Only regret was not adding cheese in the army stew. $33.90++ but they a promo now where this goes for half price.
