10 Great Cze Char Places To Go
If you want Malaysian Cze Char, but really don't want to be stuck in the causeway jam for 2 hours, then this is a good alternative (unfortunately at Singapore price tag). Awesome food. Always a crowd here.
Black Angus US Beef. Such an unlikely offering at a tze char place but SHIOK! 👍
Beef Hor Fun, fried rice, sweet and sour pork, prawn paste fried chicken are highly recommended dishes here. Nostalgic type of ambience too.
For me, this Hor Fun ranks as one of the best in Singapore. Wok fried taste (wok cannot be washed for certain), and generous with the seafood. Their sweet and sour pork and hei Zhou are also good! 😋
Lala Hor Fun, Chilli Crab and Black Pepper Crab is da bomb here! The Hor fun has that fried wok taste which is so shiok!
If you've skipped dinner (gasp!) during a long workday, come into the loving embrace of Seng Kee. Their awesome Mee Sua, with its soupy herbal infusion, will bring you back to Ah Ma's kitchen. You can choose from several variations- lean pork slices, kidneys, beancurd, and even fried meesua with crab. It's not Ah Ma, but Ah Ma's probably sleeping at 3am (best not to wake her).
The best tau suan in Singapore I swear. It doesn't have that disgusting starchy feel. Just nice! $3 #burpple
Chicken Claypot Rice. #burpple #5s
A neighborhood hidden gem at Jalan Besar. Saw everyone on the table eating this chao tar (crispy) fried bee hoon. Interesting taste like pancake biscuit, and normal bee hoon and ingredients underneath it. Uniquely Singapore indeed?
