My delivery dinner during CNY because I didn't want to do house visits. Overpriced of course but a nice set meal they provided.
I guess they're famed for roast meats, and duck alone has several varieties. Good gamey flavour, skin not crispy but fat, and interesting sauce.
What's not to like? Fish skin and fried kangkong are both awesome.
This dish attracted me to visit Dian Xiao Er for the first time. I'm a bit on the fence. There's almost no crab roe, unless the gravy is meant to be? Those in white are egg, not crabmeat. The beehoon was braised prior, but tasteless, so you'll need the gravy to rescue it.
Acceptable.
Very long never eat what I consider one of Singapore's best pad thai. I'm very picky with this dish hahaha. Still good.
Again, tasty, generous but oily.
Tasty, generous but oily.
Hualong is usually good, albeit expensive, but this signature dish was awful. It tasted like just soy sauce rice and the meat was mediocre.
Aiya I was craving this but theirs cmi. Barely any taste except the few salted fish.
I probably wouldn't choose to eat here but the fiancee was tempted. Mainstream veg. I do want to give five stars to the service. They're attentive and friendly. This service level is rare and it made me very pleased.
