Got to experience authentic Kyushu cuisine at @sunwithmoonsg and I canāt believe Iāve never heard of Kyushu before despite it being Japanās 3rd largest island!
A key highlight from the regional specials was the US Kurobuta Agodashi Negi Shabu ($17.80) which was slices of pork dipped in a flying fish soup stock. Add the given vegetables and tofu too! This light option was very wholesome.
Wanna indulge in some Curry Cheese Katsu Udon ($12.80) at @tamoyasg rn š¤¤ The crispy chicken katsu had melted cheese on it which was just oozing and amazing, the only thing I would change would be more of that sweet curry. This bowl is available for a limited time only so hurry head down to try it! #tamoyasg #tamoyaudon
Snacking on @onesushisgās Ebi Fry ($3.60) š Love how they delivered it in the cutest moving train! It was super juicy and the crust on it was just on point.
Super love the 50% off specialty rolls that @standingsushibar has on Wednesdays :ā) The Rockstar Roll ($16.90) had the nicest and super generous torched mentaiko sauce on seared salmon š¤¤ Plus that fried cheddar cheese thing going on inside the sushi rolls were so on point.

You can never go wrong with a Beef Yakiniku Don ($10.80), even my grandma rated this 7/10!
The thinly sliced beef was so fragrant, tender and easy to eat and with rice, it was just perfect š #otoko #otokomidtown #japanesefood #hougang

The Donburi Rice Bowls here at @thepopuluscafe are one of the top sellers and the āBounty of the Seaā Mixed Grains Bowl ($22.50) was made for you seafood lovers.
This dish features seafood like roasted cod loin, Japanese scallops and shredded crab meat on a bed of mixed brown rice & 3 grains (I tasted barley among the grains). The cod loin was cooked to perfection but a little underseasoned for me which could be because this is a healthier option, but all the seafood was so fresh! The sides include a red cabbage salad, lightly pickled cucumbers and pickled ginger which were so refreshing. #thepopuluscafe #outrampark #cafe #cafehopping #sgcafe #sgcafefood

Missing the Sanuki Beef Egg Udon ($11.20) from @tamoyasg š¤¤ #tamoya #tamoyaudon #udon #clarkquay #fortcanning #japanesefood
Fun fact: Udon noodles can be served both as hot noodle soup and cold noodle soup.
The hot noodle soup is usually served in the winter while the cold noodle soup is served during the summer. Kinda āduhhā but kewl.
Having the Hot Fruit Tea ($9.90) at @hoshinocoffeesgās new outlet at Chinatown Point šµ Really loved how the tea had so much fruits infused in it like apples, oranges, kiwi, blueberry and mint leaves š #hoshino #hoshinocoffee #hoshinocoffeesg #chinatown #chinatownpoint

Nearly passed out having the A4 Wagyu Beef in the bonito broth that was made in front of us.
The bonito flakes was shredded from the bonito fish from Japan, and then infused in the dashi stock.
For the wagyu, the fat to meat ratio was so high and they were so thinly sliced. It was cooked to perfection in 15 seconds šš» #dashimastermarusaya #marusaya
Originating from āChan puruā, which means Okinawan stir-fried noodles, the Sakura Ebi Somen created at Plum & Toro will have you going for seconds.
Tossed in a fragrant scampi oil, the thin noodles were so smooth and had a really nice bite to it. Finally, crispy and savoury sakura ebi that was fried perfectly was added on top š¦

Loved the sweet sauce and the flavours of the Buta Kakuni ($16.90) āŗļø It would have been perfect if the thick slices of grilled pork belly were less tough though. #ensushi #bencoolen
