After paying, you are entitled to a tiny bottle of Coyo cultured drink.

Seven free-flow banchan were provided, and our favourite was the seaweed salad, which looked and tasted like coleslaw. It was sweet and crunchy.

A sweet rice wine to accompany the meal. It’s poured into a kettle and then served in small metal bowls for sipping.

I’m not a fan of beer, so I can’t comment much. According to my friend, the mug was icy cold, the beer was smooth and clear, and it was topped with icy snowflakes, making it extra cold and refreshing. However, you need to drink it quickly, as the snowflakes melt fast.

We also added Fried Rice ($8++) after finishing the signature dish. They stir-fried rice with the remaining sauce from the Jjim-dak, which helped enhance the flavour. Luckily, the portion was small.

Comes from Beef BBQ Platter. The steamed egg was airy, fluffy, and served hot. Simple and enjoyable.

Good for 2-3 pax. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this dish, but I found it quite ordinary, similar to home-cooked food. My friends who had tried the original version in Korea mentioned that this tasted noticeably different.

Instead of dried chilli heat, the spiciness was peppery. The portion was huge, and we couldn’t finish it, so we had them pack it up.

It’s basically braised chicken stew with thick, chewy glass noodles, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, onions, leeks, and rice cakes. At least the chicken was tender and packed with flavour.

SOT to eat here, or is it just sort of an experience? You decide!

Not your typical K-BBQ. Instead, it uses a drum griddle for a different cooking experience.

Beef BBQ Platter ($120++)
Includes 250g of thin-sliced beef brisket, 150g of beef sirloin, 200g of La Galbi, vegetables, mushrooms, tteokbokki, and a steaming hot bowl of steamed egg.

I appreciate their service of cooking the ingredients on the spot in front of you on the drum griddle pot, ensuring optimal texture without the risk of burning the meat yourself. After cooking, the meat is placed on a hot plate with a small flame underneath to keep it warm.

The meats are said to be of premium quality, which explains the pricing, but we found the taste rather average. Perhaps the cooking method influenced the flavour. It lacks the distinct char or flame-grilled effect that creates a deep smoky aroma and caramelised edges, making the flavour less intense. Since the drum griddle distributes heat evenly, it prevents charring, though the texture was good. Wrapping the meat in fresh, crunchy lettuce with salt, pepper, or ssamjang enhances the flavour, creating a well-balanced bite.

Final Thoughts
Just my honest take, but of course, you may have your own opinion. I found the price quite expensive, and the main attraction is the gimmicky drum griddle. The variety was limited, and they only offer set menus for meat platters, so if you want a specific cut of meat, you must order the full set, which feels inflexible. Taste-wise, nothing extraordinary, pretty standard. That being said, a one-time experience is enough.

Steamed rice topped with braised pork belly, seaweed sprinkled with sesame seeds, soft and chewy mushrooms, sweet corn, cucumber, carrot, spinach, and a sunny-side-up egg. Gochujang is provided on the table, allowing you to adjust the amount to your preference.

Mix everything in the hot stone bowl to bring out the flavours. The hot stone bowl works its magic by crisping up the rice without charring it while keeping the food warm for an extended period. The rice does not stick to the pot, and a protective paper wrapper is placed around the hot stone to prevent heat exposure.

The pork belly was well-braised, carrying a sweet flavour and a succulent texture. The egg was cooked properly with a runny yolk, adding a creamy richness to the dish. Overall, it was a hearty meal.

This set also includes free-flow kimchi, which was very refreshing, crunchy, sweet-savoury, and mildly spicy, plus a rich, umami-loaded, and slightly oily seaweed soup. I helped myself to quite a few rounds, the side dishes were truly enjoyable!

The steamed egg dish was a bit of a letdown. It lacked savouriness and had a plain taste. Its texture was neither fluffy nor custardy enough on the inside. While it looked good from the top, the inside dried up quickly, which was disappointing.

Boiled pork belly, served with radish kimchi sauce and greens for wrapping. The meat was soft and mildly chewy, with a delightful combination of savouriness and spiciness from the accompanying sauces and condiments. Wrapped in fresh, crunchy lettuce, it provided the ultimate enjoyment. It was so good that it disappeared in no time.

The free-flow banchan includes five types, such as kimchi and pickled radish, to complement the meal.
