Coming as a big group means getting to try more dishes and the Deluxe Platter ($99 for 5-6pax) seemed like a good way to start the night. There's something for everyone as the platter offered different small bites that includes the Beef Empanadas, Padron Peppers, Naked Nachos and Baked Camembert. The Beef Empanadas were like savoury curry puffs where each bite was flavourful with a blend of textures as the stuffing was a mix of coarsely minced meat and other ingredients.
My favourite classic mac & cheese served in bite-sized serving. Each bundle was deep fried till perfectly golden brown, resulting in a crispy outer layer with gooey and cheesy (parmesan, gouda and mozzarella) goodness on the inside. It looked plain but it was delicious on its own without any sauce. 🧀❤
Savoury and rich bite-sized goodness for all meat lovers. The cubes of wagyu beef were grilled to medium rare doneness and they were tender and juicy. Dip them into the brown sauce for an elevated taste of a tinge of truffle-ness.
The chicken wings were well-marinated and served hot with a level of crispiness that produced a "crunch" with every bite. The inside texture retained its juiciness with a tasty finishing touch of the sweet honey taste. Much loves!
Intrigued by the idea of a "beef" substitute made from plant protein, we ordered this instead of the truffle fries. First impression was that it definitely looked as good as real ground beef. The "meat" had the texture of real beef meat, but I could not taste the flavour and beefiness as the cream sesame dressing overwhelmed any taste of it. And if there was supposed to be a kick to it, I sure did not taste any chilli in it. Overall a good plate of loaded fries but could be better.
