Chocolate Granola Banana Yogurt Frappuccino - made with yogurt and banana sauce, topped with chocolate foam, granola, and rice pops.
Some banana beverages / drinks have this strong vanilla essence like flavoring, but this drink was quite the exception. I wasnβt sure myself if they blended a whole banana in it (but I donβt think they did). That being said, the combination of chocolate and banana would be what you expect, with a hint of sourness from the yogurt, but still rather refreshing and not overly sweet!
This is NOT BOBA! This is similar to their pomegranate pearls just that they have coffee bursting out of those pearls instead of pomegranate juice. It's soooo goood!!! Anyone who loves caramel and isn't too worried about the sugar, would love it! $9.90 for Venti is a little steep. But with the AIA Vitality vouchers it's pretty okay. Plus the 1-1 deal happening til tmr! Always worth it then.
Can see that Starbucks is trying to hop onto the crazy bandwagon of the brown sugar fad happening in SG using the term "dark caramel". Of course that's totally different from brown sugar, but you can see the similarity there. Especially with the boba looking coffee pearls. Glad that it wasn't actually boba and brown sugar as that would feel just too desperate for a conglomerate like Starbucks.
One of the longest names and the most disappointing drink EVER! The flavoured foam tasted odd and starkly artificially flavoured. The passion fruit was missing...or lost. Perhaps the mixture of mango and passion fruit AND the tea taste wiped out the passion fruit or just left a shadow of it. Since the first taste, it tasted watery and almost like fruit punch. And fruit punch is disgusting.
Halfway through, an eerily bright yellow oily looking substance was partially coating the top of the foam. What was that?? The food colouring rising to the top? The flavouring or syrup? God knows.
I mixed it all up after that and then it just tasted more like a bad watery fruit punch with the tea taste completely obliterated.
Don't bother trying this.
It comes with a sesame dressing. Original price is $7.90 but if u are an AIA Vitality member, you can use your $5 voucher like I did hehehe. I am not an insurance salesperson, don't worry.
The chicken is well-seasoned and the soba goes just so well with sesame dressing! It does not feel very filling so it's a good light meal
$10+ for a Venti! $8+ for a tall... It's bloody ex! Hence, I redeemed my 60 points for one free drink! Never been more worth it. It's sooo chocolatey! Grab it with your points if you don't wanna pay such a hefty price, before it's gone!
Been a long long time since I had Starbucks, missed having my name hilariously misspelled but I will forgive the barista as he was super generous with the whipped cream as seen. Lightly dusted with green tea powder on the fattening swirl, the crunchy java chips were a nice touch to the sweet chocolate sauce and velvet smooth Matcha green tea with milk.
