Finally tried this hotpot buffet restaurant after delaying for a while and it was worth it.
Buffet is $25.80++ for Version A. The soup is additional $8++ per table. One good thing the soup you can choose 4 different soup which is worth it. Ingredients used is always free.
Will come here again.
New Yunnan amish hotpot buffet place that had replaced the old XiangCao Yunnan for quite a few month but they have the same menu and price with a little minor changes.😅
The place is much bigger than the old and can host many more customers. Service was alright and the food were great too.
Add $8 for three/four soup base pot with fixed wild mushroom soup and two/three other choices. We had pork bone and hot & sour soup. Soup were rather normal at the start but towards the end, was quite flavourful especially that pork bone broth.😋 Mushroom soup was mellow initially, but after we order a plate of Wild Mushroom Platter for 4 pax($6), the mushroomy taste certainly shoot to the moon. If were to compare this new ahms and old XiangCao mushroom soup, I would say XiangCao win cause the taste is much richer in every aspect. As for ahms, taste was rather clean but all these boiled down to personal preference.
Same wide selection for normal buffet so no need go for premium if you want to save some money.
Meat quality were okay. Remember to make your dips too.
