Very satisfying home style food, super efficient service. Long queues from tour groups are cleared in no time. Even non-pork eaters (Muslims, Jews, some Indians) can find their happiness here. Prices have gone up, so no longer cheap but still ok lah.
Special way to roast Peking duck - it’s quite scrumptious even if it’s not my favourite kind. We had a very good meal, although nothing stands out as particularly outstanding. Beautiful dining room and excellent service.

Excellent Indonesian dishes and drinks at reasonable prices, with scrumptious sambal and nice staff - what more can you ask for, unless you don’t like Indonesian food?
We arrived 15 min before opening time, but there was still 70 min waiting, so we went to sister restaurant down the corridor, where 3 out of the 7 samgyetang specialties are not available. Ain’t cheap (count on $55 per pax), but definitely one of the best ginseng chicks you can have. Nice but slow service. The promised soup or banchan refills never arrive!
