This Michelin Star Bak Chor Mee comes in $6, $8 and $10. There are a lot of ingredients like pork and liver slices, minced pork, dumplings and fried sole fish. I felt it wasn't spicy enough for me. And compared to Upper Thomson Bak Chor Mee, I would have preferred the latter. #BurppleMajulahMakan

The Claypot Rice is very flavorful and contains chinese sausage, fish slices, chicken and salted duck egg yolk. Eat it with the sambal chilli and green chilli they provide...yumz! Would prefer the chicken to be more tender tho.

Koung’s Wanton Mee is located at a coffeeshop at Geylang Lorong 21A. The noodles are springy and they make their own special blend of chilli sauce. The wantons and char siew are good too. The char siew has a balance of fatty and lean meats. Topped with green chilli and pork lards, give it all a good mix and it's a very satisfying and filling breakfast.

The soy sauce chicken was well marinated where you can taste the light but not overly salty fragrance of the soy sauce. The tender chicken meat was also well accompanied by the fragrant and oily rice. Was disappointed by the roasted pork belly tho as it wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be.

Love the decoration and ambience for the Enchanted Cafe. It's a very cozy and quiet cafe to chill and relax. There’s no GST or service charge as well.

The Lu Rou Burger ($17.90) comes with fluffy buns and a generous amount of lu rou (braised pork). The lu rou is tender and flavorful. It also comes with a side of potato salad.
Enchanted serves a range of hearty brunch menu such as Big Breakkie ($17.90). Love the creamy scrambled eggs!
Ordered Bandung Milk ($4.90). The bandung drink is a well-loved beverage. Distinctly bright pink in colour, it consists of rose syrup and milk. You can’t leave Enchanted Cafe without trying out the Sorcerer’s Elixir ($9.90). The drink tastes good, but the real highlight of the drink is the presentation.

Scrambled Egg with Sausages, Korean Chicken Wings, Curry prawns with Potatoes, Cabbage with Tang Hoon and Bak Kut Teh Soup.

Kowloon Bay Hk Cafe is situated at first floor of Hillion Mall. Tried the following dishes: The Signature Fei Po Char Siew Noodle ($9.90) springy noodles topped with a portion of char siew and some vegetables. Croissant with Char Siew ($7.90) which came with a side of salad and fries. The croissant was fluffy and buttery. The char siew gave this dish a savoury twist, which worked really well. Loved the char siew in both dishes. The char siew was charred and fatty, tho it would be better if there was a balance of lean meat and fats. But overall, they were still two great dishes. Last but not least, don’t forget to pair your mains with an iced cold Kowloon Bay Special Drink ($4.50). The milk tea was served in a glass surrounded by a bucket of ice, to ensure that it wouldn’t be diluted even after being left out for awhile. Definitely be back here again!

The ingredients used were very fresh, however the noodles were overly spicy and the soup was too bland for me.

Niku Kappo is located at basement 3 of Ion Orchard. Went early for lunch to avoid the queue and was one for the first customers to arrive. I was served a complimentary welcome drink. Foie Gras Chawanmushi ($8.90) - Traditional Japanese steamed egg custard with foie gras. Mt. Fuji Nabe ($18.90) - the dish comes with 200g of meat piled up with assorted vegetables in a hot pot, in a rich pork bone soy sauce broth. Tori Kushi Mori ($18.90) - Each chicken skewer is topped with different flavors : sesame, yuzu, miso, teriyaki and vinegar & tartar. Sukiyaki Sushi ($18.90) - Premium wagyu meat is grilled by the chef in front of me and served with egg yolk and sukiyaki sauce. Deconstructed Matcha Pudding ($3.90) - Milk pudding served with matcha and egg sauce. Strawberry Ice Brulee with Snow ($5.90) - Cotton candy is served atop a mixture of pudding, vanilla ice cream and strawberries, and then burnt to melt into syrup. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants this year!

Encased in a buttery pastry, Honolulu’s bean curd tarts are best eaten chilled. I loved how smooth the beancurd centre was!
